Who Created Prince Valiant Comic Strips?
Hal Foster created the comic strip series Prince Valiant in the Days of King Arthur after adapting the book Tarzan into a comic strip that ran seven years. Prince Valiant debuted on 13 February 1937 and Foster remained involved in the series in some capacity until 1980. His detailed, realistic drawings were revolutionary when most comic artists preferred a more cartoonish style. Today his work is highly admired and desired by collectors for his lasting mark in the comic world.
