We sold an Olympics torch from the 1984 Los Angeles games:

1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics Relay Torch — Exciting Memento of the Historic Games

Olympic torch carried in the relay leading to flame lighting for the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. In the United States, the relay began on 8 May 1984 at the United Nations Plaza in New York continuing across the country with more than 3,600 runners carrying the torch 9,300 miles to Los Angeles. This torch was carried by a runner near Santa Barbara, California. 1960 Decathlon Gold Medal Winner Rafer Johnson was the final runner, who lit the flame at the L.A. Coliseum on July 28. The design of the torch changes for each Olympic Games; this torch, made of aluminum with a brass finish, measuring 22″ x 4.75″, weighs 2.25 pounds. The leather covered handle is encircled with three brass bands. The center band reads: “Games of the XXXIIIrd Olympiad / Los Angeles 1984.” The top of the torch features the words “Citius / Altius / Fortius” (faster, higher, stronger) and a drawing of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The torch, in a zippered pouch, shows minor wear. Overall in near fine condition. Sold for $2,527.
