Mark Hamill’s Screen-Worn Hero Pants in the Original 1977 ”Star Wars” as Luke Skywalker
Screen-worn ”hero” costume pants worn by Mark Hamill in his career-defining role as Luke Skywalker in the 1977 epic film ”Star Wars”, the first in the groundbreaking trilogy. As one of the top-grossing films of all time, George Lucas’ first film in the successful series won six Oscars, among many other awards. In a galaxy far, far away, Hamill donned these iconic pants as the Jedi Knight of all Jedi Knights, wearing the costume pants throughout much of the film. Sand-colored ”cotton drill” Levi’s pants are purposely distressed to display wear, with dirt to back right pocket and in spots to front of pant legs. In fact, in an accompanying article, Mark Hamill said of the pants, ”By the way, those pants I wore were just bleached Levi’s with the tag still in them.” Pants measure 29” waist x 37” in length with two 6” slits up each side. Customized by the famous London costumier, Bermans & Nathans, original tag sewn to inseam reads: ”Bermans & Nathans / 40 Camden St., / London N.W. 1” tag with a ”Mark Hamill / 10490 Luke / Star Wars” printed in type beneath it. Very good condition overall. Also with tags attached from both Christie’s, where the pants were originally auctioned, and Sotheby’s, from its 1998 auction. Sold for $60,000.

The Batsuit From “Batman Returns” Starring Val Kilmer — Measures Over 6′ Tall on Custom Display
The Batsuit from the 1995 hit superhero film “Batman Forever” directed by Joel Schumacher and starring Val Kilmer as Batman. Body of batsuit is in formed black rubber segments covered by the textured integral cape and cowl style mask, with long black leather gloves, boots and black plastic belt and bat symbol. Original parts of the costume from the film are the cowl, cape and body; the gloves, belt, insignia and shoes are replicas for the display. Cowl was likely not worn, but rather displayed in the Batcave scene, and attaches to the cape with velcro. Costume comes displayed dramatically on a mannequin with chiseled face of Kilmer, mounted to a 2′ square gray-white base with “BATMAN FOREVER” at front center. Zipper along the back opens to reveal “K.C. #59″ written in silver ink. Batsuit measures 6’5″ tall including 4″ tall base, and approximately 28” at the widest point of the cape. Light wear and cracking from use, with a few chips to top of insignia, and glue showing at top of cape where it attaches to cowl. Overall in very good plus condition, a stunning display. Sold for $45,000.
Bruce Lee Personally Owned and Used Heavy Bag
Bruce Lee owned and used heavy bag. Beige canvas heavy bag used in Lee’s revolutionary martial arts practice is stamped with brand name Atlas. Measures 39” high with a 14” diameter. Weighs 69 pounds. Moisture staining around the bottom quarter, else near fine. From the collection of Herb Jackson, whose well-documented friendship with Lee began while he trained in Jeet Kune Do at Lee’s Los Angeles martial arts academy in Chinatown. Lee, impressed with Jackson’s background in street fighting, in time befriended his student and invited him to train at his home. Just before his fateful move to Hong Kong, Lee gifted many pieces of his martial arts equipment to Jackson. With a COA from Herb Jackson’s son. Sold for $33,901.
Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith screen-worn black suits and prop weapons from ”Men in Black II”. Extensive lot from the hit UFO franchise includes the iconic black suits worn by Tommy Lee Jones as Agent Kay and by Will Smith as Agent Jay. Pair of suits were tailor-made for the actors by acclaimed costume designer John David Ridge. ”Mr. Tommy Lee Jones” is typed to the labels of his jacket and pants, as is ”Mr. Will Smith” on the labels of his jacket and pants. Both suits include a white cotton dress shirt, custom made by Anto of Beverly Hills. Shirts feature monograms embroidered in blue thread to the labels, ”T.L.J.” and ”W.S.”, respectively. Shirt labels are dated June 2001 in type. Ensembles are complete with unlabeled black neckties and velvet pocket squares. Wardrobe is accompanied by the pieces de resistance, Agent Kay & Jay’s giant alien-blasting weapons. Impressive pieces are made of solid rubber finished in silver paint. Agent Kay’s single-barrel weapon in silver, with green at the top measures a whopping 40” in length. Agent Jay’s tri-barrel weapon measures 31.5”. Will Smith’s jacket and trousers feature small holes for his wire harness to pass through, with labels inscribed ”Harness” in ink, and the letters ”FC” are handwritten to his shirt label. Some scuffing to props and tearing to the back of Jones’ shirt, else lot is near fine overall. With a COA from Prop Store and a copy of costume department’s info sheet. Sold for $25,428.
”RoboCop” OmniCorp Screen-Used Prop Body Parts From the Successful 2014 Remake of The Cult Classic
”RoboCop” screen-used prop body parts from the 2014 remake of the film. Parts are for the EM 208 OmniCorp robot. Includes four separated pieces: (1) EM-208 head, with molded features painted, as well as a high gloss foam coating. Silver and black in color, measures 8” x 8.5” with a 12” depth. (2) EM-208 torso as one full piece. Again with a high gloss coating. Molded features include a spinal column, immobile pistons, as well as other mechanical attachment pieces. Measures 14” x 30” with a 10” depth. Measures 7.8 pounds. (3) Two EM-208 legs, one left and one right leg, each in a high gloss coating. Left leg has two metal cord straps attached to the top for hanging and attachment purposes. Foot measures 6” x 13” together with the leg, 41” in height. Each leg weighs 8.4 pounds. Entire set weighs approximately 25 pounds. Minor wear, else near fine. With a COA from MGM. Sold for $25,000.

Superman Hero Costume Worn by Christopher Reeve in the 1978 Superman Film
Very rare Superman “muscle tunic” worn by Christopher Reeve during filming of “Superman: The Movie”, the very first film of the beloved Christopher Reeve franchise, released in 1978. Tunic used in the flight scenes features two stitched holes on the sides, used to attach the flying harness. Four snaps at top are for attaching the cape. Signature blue tunic is made complete with Superman’s large emblematic gold and red “S” sewn onto the front. The original “Bermans & Nathans / 40 Camden St. / London N.W. 1” tag is still intact on the tunic’s inner back collar, next to the zipper, with the label reading in type: “CHRISTOPHER REEVE / 12312 WITH MUSCLES / SUPERMAN”. Made of special nylon fabric, used for its stretch and ability to retain its original shape. Without being stretched, tunic measures 18″ across the chest and 29″ long. A few small holes, otherwise in near fine condition. With Prop Store COA. Sold for $20,250.
John Wayne “True Grit” Costume
John Wayne’s costume from Paramount’s 1969 film, “True Grit.” Worn by Wayne in the role of frontier marshall Rooster Cogburn. Wine colored cotton long sleeve shirt with fabric-backed, lined suede vest, with collars, and embroidery. Label reads, “Western Costume Co / Hollywood / No. 2249-3 / Name John Wayne / Chest 49 Sleeve 36 / Collar 18 1/2.” Together with a Certificate of Authenticity from a respected movie memorabilia auction house and letter regarding subsequent sale. Some soiling to vest, else very good condition. Sold for $10,200.
Jeff Bridges Screen-Worn Bodysuit From the 1982 Science Fiction Classic ”Tron”
”Tron” bodysuit worn by Academy-Award winning actor Jeff Bridges from the 1982 classic science fiction film. Bridges returned to the franchise in 2010, reprising his role as Kevin Flynn in the long-awaited sequel to the film, entitled ”Tron: Legacy”. Jumpsuit features the name of Bridges’ character ”Flynn” written in black marker to inside of zipper. Light beige bodysuit contains black linear pattern which was famously lit up at plot points throughout the film. Lycra suit contains track suit collar, with half-zippered front with the bottom closing all the way through the feet. Measures 13” across the chest, 34” down the inseam. Staining consistent with being worn. Very good to near fine condition.
