John Buscema Original 1978 Conan The Barbarian Strip
John Buscema (December 11, 1927 – January 10, 2002) was an American comic book artist and one of the mainstays of Marvel Comics during its 1960s and 1970s ascendancy into an industry leader and its subsequent expansion to a major pop-culture conglomerate. His younger brother Sal Buscema is also a comic book artist.
John Buscema original “Conan the Barbarian” strip from 18 October 1978, signed, penciled and inked by Buscema. One of the few Conan strips done entirely by Buscema, signed by the artist on the left margin. Strip measures 17″ x 5.25″. Very good plus condition. Sold for $1,200.
