Walt Disney signed copy of “Walt Disney’s Surprise Package”, with stories including “Brer Rabbit” and “Peter Pan and the Pirates”. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1944 first edition. Disney elegantly signs upon the title page, “To Janet Barker / My Best Wishes / Walt Disney”. Large book with decorative endpapers and color illustrations measures 10.25″ x 13″. Abrasions to front cover and splitting to backstrip, but in otherwise very good condition with a clean interior. With Phil Sears COA. Sold for $3,899.

Scarce first edition of ”Fantasia” signed by animation pioneer Walt Disney. First edition published by Simon and Schuster: New York: 1940. Large tome is inscribed upon the front free endpaper in purple crayon in Disney’s distinctive hand, ”To Mrs. Stafford Warren / With Best Wishes / Walt Disney”. Illustrated book contains a wealth of background information on the groundbreaking animated classic, including blurbs about the pieces of music performed for it. 158pp. are bound in manilla cloth boards with blue print lettering, measuring 9.5” x 13”. Expert strengthening to boards, which are slightly soiled, overall very good. With COA by Disney expert Phil Sears. Sold for $3,125.
Walt Disney Signed ”Walt Disney’s Peter Pan” — With Phil Sears COA
Walt Disney signed picture book of ”Walt Disney’s Peter Pan”, published in conjunction with the Disney animated film ”Peter Pan” released in 1953. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1952. Disney signs the pictorial front free endpaper in blue fountain pen, ”To Walter Krueger / Best Wishes / Walt Disney”. Book measures 9.5” x 13.25”. Loose boards with some paper loss to spine, and lamination starting to peel on boards. Interior is unblemished. Overall in very good condition. With Phil Sears COA. Sold for $3,125.
Walt Disney signed copy of ”Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, signed in blue crayon and taking up nearly the full page of the front free endpaper. Grosset & Dunlap: New York: 1938. This edition came on the heels of the 1937 film, which overcame all odds to be the most successful film of the year and garnered Disney one full and seven miniature Oscars. Hardcover measures 9” x 7.5” and runs 40pp. Cocking to spine and separation of pages starting at joint. Good to very good condition. Sold for $2,290.
