Vince Lombardi Check Signed on Green Bay Packers Checking Account, Dated 31 October 1960

Vincent Thomas Lombardi (June 11, 1913 – September 3, 1970) was an American football coach and executive in the National Football League (NFL). He is best known as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960s, where he led the team to three straight and five total NFL Championships in seven years, in addition to winning the first two Super Bowls at the conclusion of the 1966 and 1967 NFL seasons.

Vince Lombardi check signed, drawn on the Green Bay Packers Inc. bank account, dated 31 October 1960 shortly after Lombardi joined the team as head coach. Signed in blue ballpoint, ”Vincent Lombardi” and countersigned by Packers President Dominic Olejniczak. Check is paid to Wisconsin Telephone Company in the amount of $226.44. Measures 8.25” x 3”. Cancellation holes and stamps, not affecting Lombardi’s signature. Very good condition. Sold for $813.
