Marlene Dietrich Personally Owned Large Aquamarine Solitaire Ring Set in 18k Gold by Tiffany & Co.
Marlene Dietrich’s Tiffany aquamarine ring. Giant oval solitaire is set in a four-prong 18k gold setting. Size 8 ring features a 750 stamp and 18k stamp inside. A piece has been added to make the ring smaller but appears simple to remove (not welded to ring). Stone measures 0.75” x nearly 1” x just over 0.5”. Near fine. In original Tiffany Box. Exquisite world clock from the Lyndon B. Johnson family. Cylindrical timepiece by Tiffany & Co. features a prominent engraving to one side reading, ”The President / November 22, 1963 – January 20, 1969”. Brushed brass desktop clock features Arabic quarter-hour numerals surrounding a gilt and silver world planisphere. Map is divided into sectors with the names of twenty-four world cities and countries. 8-day Swiss movement is 15 jewels, and maker ”Tiffany & Co.” appears on the face. Measures 4” in diameter. Key for alarm and crystal is absent, else fine. With provenance from a charity auction benefiting the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at the University of Texas, and an LOA from Lynda Johnson Robb. Sold for $10,541.

Ed Sullivan Gold Tiffany’s Wristwatch — Gifted to Him by Frank Sinatra
Ed Sullivan’s Tiffany’s wristwatch. The 14-karat gold timepiece made by Tiffany & Co. bears an engraved Christmas dedication that reads ”Thanks Ed, Frankie [Sinatra], December 25, 1947”. The two friends had a falling out as described in ”His Way: An Unauthorized Biography” in which Sullivan vowed to send this watch back to Sinatra. Watch is in near fine condition. With provenance from R&R. Sold for $6,544.

Vintage Tiffany Gold Cigarette Case Presented to WWII Singer Jo Stafford
Beautiful 14K yellow gold cigarette case produced by Tiffany & Company and presented to Grammy award singer Jo Stafford, who worked with Fred Astaire, Perry Como and others. Circa 1949. Engraved on the interior, “To Jo Stafford with deep appreciation for your swell cooperation and valuable work for Chesterfield / CHESTERFIELD SUPPER CLUB / STAR / 1945-1949.” The interior rim is engraved, “TIFFANY & CO. MAKERS 14 KT GOLD M.” Box measures 3.5″ x 3″ x .5″ and weighs 127 grams. In near fine condition. Includes original Tiffany blue leather case which is in very good condition with some scuffing and a small tear. Truly stunning piece of functional decorative art. Sold for $2,732.


1886 Statue of Liberty Tiffany & Co. Invitation
Rare invitation to the Statue of Liberty inauguration, held at Bedloe’s Island, New York Harbor in 1886. Originally known as “Liberty Enlightening the World,” the statue was designed by French sculptor Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi as a gift of friendship from France. The 151-foot statue was shipped over in more than 200 packing cases and reassembled, with the last rivet fitted on 28 October 1886 during this dedication presided over by President Grover Cleveland. Invitation in calligraphy reads in part: “…You are invited to be present on the occasion of the inauguration by the President of the United States, of the Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World…” This Tiffany designed card features a golden embossed wreath with crossed flags, and an image of the Statue on its pedestal, with the shields of both the United States and France. Measures 7.75″ x 5.75″. Light block of toning, else near fine. Sold for $1,711.

Ray Bradbury Personally Owned Pair of Stained Glass Lamps
Ray Bradbury’s own Tiffany-style lamps. Tabletop lamps are in the Tiffany style, with one featuring an ornate hanging shade. Wider lampshade measures 20.5” x 11.5”, with a 9” x 26” stand. Narrow, longer shade measures 13” x 13”, with a 10” x 29” stand. Both function and are near fine. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate. Sold for $1,110.

Brooklyn Bridge Original Opening Ceremonies Ticket
Brooklyn Bridge opening ceremonies ticket in deep periwinkle blue. Official ticket for the 24 May 1883 event features an embossed leaf design reading “NY & BB”, referring to its original name, the “New York and Brooklyn Bridge”. Ticket by Tiffany & Co. (whose hallmark appears at bottom) measures 6.5″ x 2.75″. Light discoloration on verso and at top and bottom left edge, else near fine condition. Sold for $926.

Ronald and Nancy Reagan personally owned 14 karat yellow gold Tiffany pen, used by the Reagans in their Bel Air home and also possibly in the White House. Hallmarked with the Tiffany “T”, ball point pen is in the classic bamboo style. Pen measures 4.25″ long. Very fine surface scratches showing apparent use. From the Reagan estate sale at Christie’s, which saw record prices including approximately $200,000 for cowboy boots and $100,000 for a sheet of Presidential doodles. Sold for $908.

Kennedy. Tiffany & Co. gold vermeil on sterling cigarette case gifted by Jackie Kennedy in 1966. Inside of case has engraved inscription that reads, “1966 / For Helen with appreciation and affection / JBK”. The recipient, Helen Lempart Westbrook worked in the Kennedy White House. Inside of case is also stamped, “TIFFANY & CO. / STERLING 925 / ITALY”. Case has spring catch and measures 3.5″ x 2.5″. Comes with original Tiffany blue cloth bag. Minor discoloration to outside corners and inside edges. Overall near fine condition. From the estate of Helen Lempart Westbrook. Sold for $765.
