Thomas Edison stock signed for shares in Thomas A. Edison, Inc., Edison’s holding company under which all his other businesses operated. Stock is signed “Thos A Edison” as President and H.J. Miller as Treasurer at conclusion, and unusually issued to Edison himself in the amount of 1,000 shares. Dated 9 July 1925, orange and green certificate has blind embossed stamp at lower edge. Also signed by Charles Edison on the verso in 1935 after his father’s passing. Document measures 15.375″ x 9.375″ with stub intact. Cancellation holes affecting signature, and small closed tear at lower edge, overall very good condition. Sold for $1,576.
