Kevin Conroy signed limited edition “Batman” bust, a 1:2 scale replica of “Batman” from “Batman: The Animated Series”. Signed “Kevin Conroy / Batman” in silver felt-tip across the chest, bust is #654 of a limited edition of 1000. Conroy voiced “Batman” in the DC Animated Universe from 1992 until his death in 2022, emerging as the actor who portrayed “Batman” longer than any other, either in live-action or animation. Bust measures 12″ tall x 11.5″ wide x 8″ deep. Near fine condition. With Celebrity Authentics COA.

The Batsuit From “Batman Returns” Starring Val Kilmer — Measures Over 6′ Tall on Custom Display

The Batsuit from the 1995 hit superhero film “Batman Forever” directed by Joel Schumacher and starring Val Kilmer as Batman. Body of batsuit is in formed black rubber segments covered by the textured integral cape and cowl style mask, with long black leather gloves, boots and black plastic belt and bat symbol. Original parts of the costume from the film are the cowl, cape and body; the gloves, belt, insignia and shoes are replicas for the display. Cowl was likely not worn, but rather displayed in the Batcave scene, and attaches to the cape with velcro. Costume comes displayed dramatically on a mannequin with chiseled face of Kilmer, mounted to a 2′ square gray-white base with “BATMAN FOREVER” at front center. Zipper along the back opens to reveal “K.C. #59″ written in silver ink. Batsuit measures 6’5″ tall including 4″ tall base, and approximately 28” at the widest point of the cape. Light wear and cracking from use, with a few chips to top of insignia, and glue showing at top of cape where it attaches to cowl. Overall in very good plus condition, a stunning display. Sold for $45,000.

The Batsuit From “Batman Returns” Starring Michael Keaton — Measures Over 6′ Tall on Custom Display

The Batsuit from Tim Burton’s hit superhero film starring Michael Keaton, “Batman Returns” which smashed box office records when it opened in 1992. Body of batsuit is in formed black rubber segments covered by the textured integral cape and cowl style mask, with long black leather gloves, boots and gold plastic belt and bat symbol. Original parts of the costume from the film are the cowl, cape and body; the gloves, belt, insignia and shoes are replicas for the display. Costume comes displayed dramatically on a mannequin with chiseled face of Keaton, mounted to a 2′ square gray-white base with ”BATMAN RETURNS” at front center. Batsuit measures 6’5” tall and approximately 27” at the widest point of the cape. Some glue present where cape and cowl meet, overall very good condition. Sold for $41,250.

The Batsuit Worn by Michael Keaton in ”Batman” From 1989 — Measures Over 7′ Tall on Custom Display

Michael Keaton’s Batsuit from Tim Burton’s hit superhero film “Batman”, released in 1989. Batsuit in formed black rubber segments applied to stretchy black fabric includes textured integral cape and cowl style mask, with long black leather gloves, boots and gold plastic belt and bat symbol. A tag within is labeled, “Michael Keaton #1”. Costume comes displayed dramatically on a mannequin with chiseled face of Keaton, mounted to a grey plaster rock ground with blind stamped bat symbol at front center, measuring 32″ across the bottom of the base and 7′ in total height. Batsuit measures 22″ across the shoulders. Scattered cracking to rubber, else near fine. Provenance from the Hollywood: A Collectors Ransom 5 auction by Profiles in History, held 12 December 1998, lot 183. Sold for $37,500.

”Batman Forever” Batman Costume Featuring Cowl, Shoulders, Chest & Iconic Bat Symbol

”Batman Forever” Batman costume featuring the cowl, shoulders, chest, and Bat Symbol used in the 1995 Warner Brothers film, the third entry in the beloved franchise starring Val Kilmer as Batman. Ensemble includes a black foam rubber Batman cowl with black leather flaps (with inner velcro catch); felt-lined shoulders, chest and abdomen (1 piece); and molded resin Bat Symbol chest ornament, all mounted on a display stand with circular base. Outfit was either worn by Kilmer or among the Batman cowls on display in the Batcave in the film. As displayed, measures 46.5” tall and 22” wide across the chest. Very good to near fine condition, a stunning display. Sold for $18,750.

Batsuit Worn in ”Batman Returns” From 1992 — With Gloves, Boots & Mannequin Display

Screen-worn Batsuit from Tim Burton’s hit superhero film ”Batman Returns”, released in 1992. Batsuit in formed black rubber segments applied to stretchy black fabric includes cowl style mask, gloves and shoes. Long black leather gloves feature metal studded palms. Boots are custom crafted by production. The iconic yellow silhouetted bat symbol is integral to the center of the chest. A label within reads, ”David Lea / Batman No. 6”. David Lea was Michael Keaton’s stunt double in the movie. Costume zips up the back and comes showcased on a mannequin. Batsuit, 60” in total height, measures 22” across the shoulders and 12” across waist, with 31” inseam. Minor chipping to collar and abrasions to shin armor. Near fine overall. Note: Batsuit was originally described as Michael Keaton’s suit from the movie. It has been identified as worn by David Lea, Keaton’s stunt double. Sold for $15,125.

Cowl Worn Onscreen by George Clooney in 1997’s ”Batman & Robin” and by Val Kilmer in 1995’s ”Batman Forever”

George Clooney screen worn Batman cowl. Hero cowl was donned by Val Kilmer in ”Batman Forever” in 1995. It was modified slightly two years later and worn again by George Clooney in the ”ice” sequence at the end of ”Batman and Robin”. Charcoal and silver cowl is made of supple foam rubber, with a more rigid silver strip running from the crown down the back to the neck concealing a zipper. Measures 19” from the tips of the ears to the lowest point on the bottom. Creasing to the silver areas, especially around the nose, some chipping to paint on the nose and a scratch above the right eye, else near fine. Obtained directly from Warner Brothers. Sold for $10,780.

Complete Hand-Drawn Artwork For Batman Comic “The Demon of Gothos Mansion” Illustrated by Ira Norvick and Dick Giordano — Rare Complete “Bronze Age” Batman Comic With 72 Panels!

Terrific complete set of original Batman comic book artwork by Irv Novick and Dick Giordano for the interior of Batman #227 “The Demon of Gothos Mansion!” Published on 1 December 1979 by DC Comics during the “Bronze Age” of comic books with the story written by Denny O’Neil. This set of 15 sheets containing 72 panels, rendered in ink, tell a harrowing story of Batman in love with a woman in peril at the hands of a cult leader, bent on sacrificing her to resurrect the demon spirit Ballk. Artist Irv Novick held a longtime relationship with Batman publisher DC Comics and illustrated for them over 50 years from 1939 to 1990. Dick Giordano, a DC executive editor, was a multi Shazam comic book award winner best known for Charlton Comics’ “Action Heroes.” The first page of this 15-page full set features a publication slug taped to the bottom with the copyright symbol cut out. Pages are numbered, stamped, dated and often annotated lightly with blue pencil. Comics Code stamped to verso of each sheet. Thick card pages each measure 10.75″ x 15.5″ with stamp and date cut through, else fine condition. A rare complete survival of the “Bronze Age” Batman comic artwork. Sold for $7,286.

”Batman Returns” Prop Penguin

Prop pengiun from ”Batman Returns”. Rubber penguin with resin rocket strapped to its back is one of the penguin army called upon by Danny DeVito’s villain, The Penguin. Black latex-coated penguin is painted with white and silver to the bindings. Rocket is painted red and white. Shaped wire has also been added. Measures 10” across x 19” high x 15” deep. Weighs 3 pounds, 14 ounces. Some cracking to paint, else near fine. Provenance from Warner Brothers and from Profiles in History Hollywood Auction 56, day 2, lot 956. Sold for $4,375.
