Shirley Temple Estate: Her Fully Furnished Wooden Dollhouse

Incredible wooden dollhouse owned by Shirley Temple. Originally designed for the 1935 film “Orchids to You”, the bungalow style house was later gifted to Shirley who adored it so much, she wrote about it in her 1988 autobiography, Child Star. White 2 room, one-story house has large multi-paned windows with blue shutters, red & white siding and shingled roof with a 10″ steeple. Inside is full of intricate furnishings which include 8 chairs, 5 bureaus, 2 beds, 2 tables, 3 rugs (one bear skin), 2 bookcases, couch, lamp, coat rack and red & white checkered curtains on the windows. Comes with many household items as well, including phone, mirror, wall-hung art, flower pot, serving plate, candle holder, flower vase, Bible and more. Also includes 12 piece white picket fence and white picket bridge, with 4.5″ tall pickets. Comes with a vintage photograph of the house and a blue pencil sketch of the house labeled “Shirley’s Doll House”. House is 26″ tall, 46″ wide and 26″ deep. Weighs about 75 pounds. House, furniture and fence in overall very good condition. With a COA signed by the Shirley Temple estate. Sold for $5,000.
