We realized $8,925 for an original attraction poster for Disneyland’s Storybook Land. Poster is hand-pulled silk-screen by Bjorn Aronson and depicts a canal boat entering the mouth of Monstro the whale. Measures 36 x 54 inches and has minor scuffing to lower portion of poster.
Disneyland Enchanted Tiki Room Attraction Poster
The introduction of the Enchanted Tiki Room to Disneyland in 1963 was also the debut of Audio-Animatronics at the theme park. The attraction is still in operation today and has inspired other Disneyland attractions that utilize Audio-Animatronics in their storytelling. We sold an early version of the Enchanted Tiki Room hand-pulled silk-screen poster that mentions “WED Enterprises” for $14,700.
Disneyland “Three Great Adventures in Eating and Entertainment” Poster
We sold a rare Disneyland poster advertising the the Plaza Pavilion, Enchanted Tiki Room and the Tahitian Terrace as the “Three Great Adventures in Eating and Entertainment” for $13,650. Poster is by Disney artist Sam McKim, also known for creating Disneyland souvenir maps. Hand-pulled silk-screen poster measures 36 x 54 inches.
Disneyland Attraction Poster for “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was based on the Jules Verne novel and debuted at Disneyland the same year the park opened. The attraction featured props and set items from the Academy Award winning film and included Captain Nemo’s pipe organ that was later repurposed for the Haunted Mansion. We realized $9,975 for an original silk-screen “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” attraction poster.
Disneyland Grand Canyon Diorama Attraction Poster
The Grand Canyon Diorama is viewed from the Disneyland railroad and is located between the Tomorrowland and Main Street stations. The breathtaking attraction features a large painted Grand Canyon scene with coupled with vegetation and wildlife models. We sold an original Grand Canyon Diorama attraction poster designed by Paul Hartley for $7,125.
