How to Sell Your Lou Gehrig Autograph
Lou Gehrig played for the New York Yankees between 1923 to 1939 and is one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He was nicknamed “The Iron Horse” for playing 2,130 consecutive games, a record that stood until Cal Ripkin Jr. broke it in 1995. Gehrig had to retire from baseball in 1939, shortly after his tragic ALS diagnosis. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame months after retiring and his jersey number, four, was the first to be retired in the MLB. We’ve featured many Lou Gehrig items and other noteworthy baseball items in our auctions. Please feel free to reach out if you have a Lou Gehrig autograph you’d like to sell or have appraised.
