Desktop Model of Apollo 11 Lunar Module
We realized $3,600 for a vintage desktop model of Lunar Module 5/ LM-5 used in the Apollo 11 mission. Model measures 10.25 inches in diameter and made by Grumman, who also manufactured the actual Apollo 11 Lunar Module that landed Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon in 1969.

We sold an Apollo spacecraft model signed by 22 astronauts for $7,535. Model was made by North American Aviation, Inc., the main contractor for NASA’s Apollo Command and Service Module. Autographs include Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Alan Shepard, Alan Bean, Charles Conrad Jr., Ed Mitchell, Jim Irwin, Dave Scott, John Young, Gordon Cooper, Wally Schirra, Donn Eisele, Rusty Schweickart, James McDivitt, Dick Gordon, James Lovell, Jack Swigert, Ken Mattingly, Ron Evans, Joe Engle, Joe Kerwin and Jerry Carr.

Vanguard 1 Satellite Model
The Vanguard 1 satellite was launched on March 17, 1958 and was the second successful satellite launched by the U.S. It was the first solar-powered satellite and is currently still in orbit today, making it the oldest human-created satellite in space. We sold a model of the Vanguard 1 satellite made by Navy Research Laboratory, the branch of the U.S. Navy that designed and constructed the satellites of Project Vanguard, for $5,530. At 22 inches in diameter, model is much larger than the actual satellite that only measures only about 6.4 inches in diameter.

Saturn C-5 Model from Early 1960s
Saturn V rockets were used to launch the Apollo missions that landed on the Moon, but had been referred to as the Saturn C-5 rocket before getting renamed Saturn V. Today the Saturn V rocket continues to be the most powerful rocket launched. We realized $4,500 for a Saturn C-5 model from the early 1960s by the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center and created to be about 1/100 scale. Model is housed in original MSFC blue wooden carrying case with a partially torn NASA label used when shipped to Houston.

Apollo 11 Crew Signed Model of Command Module Spacecraft
We sold a model of the Command Module from the historic Apollo 11 mission for $4,468. Model is attached to a triangular wood base signed by all three crew members: ”Neil Armstrong”, ”Michael Collins” and ”Buzz Aldrin”.

Apollo Spacecraft Model by North American Aviation, Inc.
We sold an early Apollo spacecraft model manufactured by North American Aviation, Inc. for $3,994. Model is from the early mid-1960s, consists of the Escape Rocket and Command Module and stands 20.5 inches tall. The base of model reads ”North American Aviation, Inc. / APOLLO SPACECRAFT” and is complete in its original North American Aviation foam-protected box.
