Roberto Clemente was an MLB All-Star and fan favorite who played for 18 seasons between 1955 and 1972 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is often considered one of the greatest right fielders to have played the game. Clemente notched his 3,000th career hit months before tragically dying in a plane crash while on a charity mission to Nicaragua. Clemente was the first Latin American and Caribbean to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Roberto Clemente signed game-used home run baseball. Spaulding professional baseball signed boldly in ink, “Best Wishes Roberto Clemente.” Usual wear from game use. Signature authenticated by PSA. An excellent Clemente home run ball in good condition. Sold for $4,440.

Roberto Clemente Single Signed Baseball — With PSA/DNA COA

Pittsburgh Pirates baseball signed by Pirates Hall of Fame legend Roberto Clemente. Wilson horsehide covered ball has an “Official League / Cork and Rubber Center” and “KDKA Radio 1020” stamp on one side panel, with a very nice blue ink signature on another panel. Ball has some scuffing and a couple of small divots below the signature but is otherwise clean. Accompanied by certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA. Sold for $1,575.

Roberto Clemente & Bill Mazeroski Team-Signed 1963 Pirates Program — With JSA COA

“Roberto Clemente” program signed by himself and more than a dozen of his Pirates teammates. “Bill Mazeroski”, “Bob Friend”, “Vern Law”, “Harvey Haddix”, “Roy Face”, “Willie Stargell”, “Jerry Lynch”, “Bob Bailey”, “Al McBean”, and four more players sign the designated Autographs section of the program. This is from the Colt 45’s vs. Pittsburgh Pirates 30 July 1963 game in Houston. Clemente played his entire career with the Pirates and won a World Series MVP award the year before his tragic 1972 death in a plane crash. Program measures approximately 8.5″ x 11″. Ink notations to detatched score sheet, else near fine. With JSA COA. Sold for $473.
