We realized $2,300 for Robert Frost signed limited edition copy of “A Steeple Bush” with a handwritten portion of his poem “A Tuft of Flowers”. Frost commented that the poem represented his coming back towards people and considered it among his best works. This copy of “A Steeple Bush” is number 709 of 751 copies.

A leaping tongue of bloom the scythe had spared

We would pour oil on the ingle

To observe the Northern Light.
If Etookashoo and Couldlooktoo
The Esquimaux should call,

Robert Frost Signed and Handwritten Sentiment in “A Masque of Reason”
We realized $1,946 for a Robert Frost signed first edition, first printing of his 1945 philosophical play A Masque of Reason. On front free endpaper Frost writes a quote from the play that reads, “Of course in the abstract high singular / There isn’t any universal reason, / And none but a man would think there was. / You don’t catch women trying to be Plato. / Robert Frost / Ripton Vermont / September 1945”. Original dust jacket is included and displays paper loss to edges.
