Prince Tasseled Gloves

Prince Rogers Nelson (June 7, 1958 – April 21, 2016), known simply as Prince, or , was an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, actor, and director. Widely regarded as one of the greatest musicians of his generation, he often played most or all instruments on his recordings. He was known for his flamboyant and androgynous persona, eclectic work, and wide vocal range, which included a far-reaching falsetto and high-pitched screams.

Prince personally worn custom-made black gloves, extending up to his elbows and without fingers so that he could wear them on stage as he played guitar. Beautiful satin gloves with tassles measure approximately 18″ long. Included is a 1990 Nude Tour program, showing Prince wearing the gloves along with matching pants. No label, as made by Paisley Park designers. Very good to near fine condition. Sold for $7,429.
