1980 Topps triple card featuring Larry Bird, Dr. J and Magic Johnson “Scording Leader” Topps card. Rookie year for both Johnson & Bird. Boston Celtics Forward Bird, 76ers “26.9” Man Julius Erving, and Lakers Guard Johnson divide this horizontal card titled “Scoring Leader,” which features three of professional basketball’s all-time greatest scorers. Some mild toning. PSA 9 condition. This card was sold before by us.

Larry Bird Signed & Game Worn Celtics Jersey — From His Final Season — With JSA COA & Grey Flannel COA

Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird signed game-worn away jersey from his final 1991-92 season on the team. Bird helped lead the team to three NBA championships in his formidable career, which also included 12 All-Star game appearances. Front of green mesh jersey is embroidered in white, ”Celtics / 33” and Bird signs on one of the ‘3’s, ”Larry Bird” in black marker. Front of Jersey also has two official NBA patches, one of which denotes the jersey year as 1991, and a third ”Champion” brand tag denoting the jersey as size 46. Back of jersey is embroidered in white, ”Bird / 33”. With two official COA’s, one from JSA which rates the signature a 9, and a second from Grey Flannel. Near fine condition. Sold for $4,468.

Elvin Hayes 1977-78 14 Carat Gold Washington Bullets Ring Obtained Directly from Him, Who is One of the 50th Greatest Players in NBA History

1977-78 Washington Bullets NBA 14kt. gold Championship Ring belonging to Elvin Hayes. 75 point diamond on top of the ring is surrounded by “N. B. A. World Champions”. “Hayes”, “bullets” and “the fat lady sings” appear on one side, with the NBA logo and “1978” appearing on the other. Inside is stamped “Balfour 14K” along with his “E.E.H” initials engraved. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Hayes. Obtained directly from Hayes.  Sold for $82,500.

Elvin Hayes Hall of Fame Induction Ring, Obtained Directly from Him, Who is One of the 50th Greatest Players in NBA History

Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame ring awarded to Elvin Hayes upon his induction in 1990. 10kt. gold Jostens ring. The square-shaped ring features a diamond set atop a red back stone with ”Basketball Hall of Fame” engraved to gold surrounding stones. One side has ‘year of his induction, ‘1990” engraved above two basketball players in relief. Opposite side has ”Elvin Hayes” engraved above the Hall of Fame official logo. Ring weighs approximately 34 grams or 1.25 oz. Fine condition. With a COA from Hayes. Obtained from Hayes directly. Sold for $56,250.

Jamaal Wilkes’ Hall of Fame Trophy — Fine

Bronze Hall of Fame trophy awarded to basketball superstar Jamaal Wilkes. Known for his defensive prowess, solid rebounding skills and deadly jump shot, Wilkes won four NBA championship rings in a career that spanned from 1975 to 1984. A member of the famous ”Showtime” Los Angeles Lakers squad of the early 1980’s, Wilkes had his number retired by the team on 28 December 2012. This trophy was presented to Wilkes at the National Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony on 7 September 2012 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Bronze statue features a stylized basketball-textured finial and two plaques affixed to the front of the base which read ”Jamaal Wilkes” and ”Class of 2012” respectively. Measures 19.5” in height with a base diameter of 6.75”. Weighs 12 lbs., 8 oz. Fine condition. A substantial tribute to one of the most distinguished players of his era. Accompanied by a COA from Jamaal Wilkes. Sold for $44,688.

Chet ”The Jet” Walker’s Hall of Fame Trophy — Fine

Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame trophy awarded to Chet Walker upon his 7 September 2012 induction. Walker’s niche in the NBA is a distinctive one: the agile forward was named to the first ever all-rookie NBA team and won the 1967 NBA Championship as part of the team widely considered the greatest of all time, the 1967 Philadelphia 76ers. After retiring as an athlete Walker authored an autobiography, “Long Time Coming: A Black Athlete’s Coming-Of-Age in America” and then became a successful producer in Hollywood. Statue features a stylized basketball-textured finial and plaque affixed to the front of the base which reads, “CHET WALKER”. Measures 19.5″ in height with a base diameter of 6.75″. Fine. A substantial tribute to one of the most distinguished players of his era. With an LOA signed by Chet Walker. Sold for $40,954.

John Isaacs’ Basketball Hall of Fame Trophy — Isaacs Won the First Ever World Professional Basketball Tournament in 1939

John Isaacs’ Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame trophy awarded to Isaacs upon his 11 September 2015 induction. The professional star won the very first World Professional Basketball Tournament in 1939 playing with the New York Renaissance, and again won a second title with the Washington Bears in 1943 as the lead scorer. Tall award statue features a stylized basketball-textured finial and plaque affixed to the front of the base that reads, “John Isaacs”. Plaque to back reads “Class of 2015” with wording in relief around the base of the trophy reading, “Naismith Memorial / Basketball Hall of Fame / Enshrinee”. Measures 19.5” in height with a base diameter of 7”. Weighs 9 pounds, 7 ounces. Some green patina to base, otherwise near fine condition. With an LOA from John Isaacs’ son. Sold for $18,750.

John Isaacs Basketball Hall of Fame Ring — Legendary Player for the New York Renaissance When They Won the Very First World Professional Basketball Tournament in 1939

John Isaacs’ Hall of Fame ring from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Isaacs played as a guard for the New York Rens, one of the first black teams in pro basketball. He led them to victory in 1939 at the first ever World Professional Basketball Tournament, where the Rens beat the Oshkosh All-Stars 34-25. Isaacs also played for the Washington Bears, who won the WPBT again in 1943, with Isaacs the lead scorer in that game. Although the Rens were inducted into the Hall of Fame as a team in 1963, Isaacs was named an HOFer in his own right in 2015. Size 13 ring features a central round cut clear diamond, flanked by gold laurel sprigs on a bed of transparent red. On the sides are Isaacs’ name, a vignette of basketball players, the year 2015 and the Hall of Fame logo, underscored by 5 stars. Within is a 10kt gold mark by Jostens. With original Jostens box. In beautiful, fine condition. A prestigious tribute to a groundbreaking player from the earliest days of pro basketball in the United States. With an LOA from John Isaacs’ son. Sold for $18,750.

Michael Jordan First Game Ticket From 26 October 1984 — Scarce Chicago Stadium Issued Ticket to the Bulls Game That Launched Jordan’s NBA Career, Slabbed by PSA

Scarce ticket to the first game of Michael Jordan’s NBA career, the opening game of the Chicago Bulls season on 26 October 1984, where the Bulls beat the Washington Bullets 109 to 93, with the impressive rookie scoring the first 16 points of his career. Ticket stub is the more desirable version issued by the Chicago Stadium box office (rather than Ticketmaster), and one of only about 10 first game tickets slabbed by PSA, with only those possessing uncanny intuition able to recognize the historic importance of the game. Ticket has been altered from its inclusion in a scrapbook, but slabbed as authentic by PSA. Sold for $3,781.
