Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash & Carl Perkins Signed 14″ x 11″ Photo of the “Million Dollar Quartet” Jam Session With Elvis Presley
Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins signed photo of their historic jam session with Elvis Presley on 4 December 1956, an impromptu once-in-a-lifetime recording session of the four men who would shape late 1950s rock ‘n roll. Large 14″ x 11″ glossy photo is signed by Lewis in orange felt-tip and by Cash and Perkins in black felt-tip. Photo is nicely framed to a size of 21.625″ x 17.75″. Not examined out of frame, but appears near fine. With COA from Odyssey Group. Sold for $5,960.

Dramatic signed presentation measuring over 25″ x 27″ of the “Million Dollar Quartet,” the impromptu jam session on 4 December 1956 with Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins. Known as a pivotal day in the history of rock ‘n’ roll, this jam session started when all four happened to show up at Sun Record Studios in Memphis on the same day. As they started jamming on the piano, riffing on gospel, country and rockabilly songs, the recording engineer thought it might be wise to record the freewheeling session. The result is 47 songs marking the only time these four musicians recorded together, all of whom would transform rock music in the late 1950s.
Display features a 20″ x 16″ photo from the event, matted with signatures of Lewis, Perkins, Presley and Cash, ranging in visible size of 2.5″ x 1″ to 4.5″ x 2.5″. Entire display measures 25.5″ x 27.75″. Some creasing and light discoloration to Elvis signature, others remain near fine. With PSA/DNA COAs for the Lewis, Perkins and Cash signatures, and Epperson COA for the Elvis signature. Sold for $2,400.
