Hat worn by Brando as Mafia don Vito Corleone is made of grey felt, with black grosgrain band and leather interior band. ”Royal De Luxe” John B. Stetson brand hat shows minor soiling under brim and a tiny stain to the crown, else near fine. One of Brando’s most celebrated roles as one of cinema’s grandest characters. Marlon Brando document signed with 20th Century Fox, dated 14 September 1951. Brando agrees to particulars of a five-year option by 20th Century Fox to utilize Brando’s services. Signed in blue ink at bottom, ”Marlon Brando Jr”, countersigned by a 20th Century Fox executive, and on the company’s letterhead. Document measures 8.5” x 11”. Staple punctures at top, and light creasing. Overall very good condition. Sold for $1,875.
Marlon Brando Signed Agreement with 20th Century Fox From 1956
Marlon Brando document signed with 20th Century Fox, dated 20 August 1956. Brando agrees to rescind a previous agreement that had required him to ”report to our studio on August 13, 1956 to commence rendition of your services in connection with the second motion picture”. Signed in blue ink at bottom, ”Marlon Brando”, countersigned by a 20th Century Fox executive, and on the company’s letterhead. It’s not known what film this ”second motion picture” might have referred to, although Brando was considered for the lead in ”The King and I”, released in 1956. Document measures 8.5” x 11”. Staple punctures at top, some creasing along right edge and fading to text. Overall very good condition. Sold for $1,774.

Marlon Brando signs: “Marlon Brando” in blue ink to the fourth page of a wine list and cocktail menu booklet. The rear cover is dated 1960 in an unknown hand. Red exterior bears QVorvm brand insignia. Measures 6″ x 6.5″. Light staining to signed page and some toning, else near fine. With PSA/DNA COA. Sold for $750.
