Kate Winslet Screen-Worn Coat From ”Titanic” — Worn During Her Dramatic Scenes of the Ship Sinking
Kate Winslet screen-worn coat from ”Titanic”. James Cameron directed Winslet in the 1997 blockbuster, in which she starred as the wealthy Rose DeWitt Bukater, star-crossed lover to Leonardo DiCaprio’s working class character Jack. Winslet is dressed in the pink coat during the scenes when the ship begins to sink. Staining to lower portion of silk lining due to this partial submergence during filming, else near fine. Extensive provenance includes a two year paid exhibition in a Titanic museum and write-up in the USA Today newspaper. Also with a COA from Twentieth-Century Fox, indicating that this coat was worn by Kate Winslet ”on deck during sinking scenes”, as well as an LOA from Salvador Perez, the Costume Manufacturing Foreman on ”Titanic,” confirming that this coat was screen-worn by Winslet in the film. A beautiful wardrobe piece from one of the most important sequences in ”Titanic,” the second highest grossing film of all time. Sold for $164,520.
Joan Crawford’s hero dress from her magnum opus, “Mildred Pierce”. Joan Crawford currently ranks in the American Film Institute’s top ten actresses in the history of cinema. Polka-dot dress is worn by Crawford in the film’s promotional posters, in a still captured from the scene in the beginning of the film when she goes on a date, set at the Malibu beach house of her scheming beau Monte Beragon. Rayon dress, originally white, has since been dyed to a flesh tone color, with polka dots in a darker nude shade. Design features a slightly A-line cut shirt, long sleeves, pleated bodice and square neckline flanked by a simple bow on either side. A Warner Bros. Pictures label is sewn into the placket and has a hand note, “B – 2nd Dress / 18905-638”. Written inside the top in black felt tip is the note, “TBS / 209”. Dress fastens up the back and at the waistline with alternating snaps and hook-and-eye closures, also found at the cuffs. Discreet side zipper is placed over the hip. Likely altered for use in a later Warner Brothers film, dress measures 17.75″ from underarm to underarm, with 21″ sleeve and a petite 11″ across the waist. Original self-belt is absent; dress is accompanied by later grosgrain belt in brown with a cream stripe through the center. Scattered pinholes and stray threads, else near fine. A stunning piece worn by Crawford in her triumphant comeback role, where she delivered what is considered one of the Best Actress performances of all time. Provenance from Warner Brothers. Sold for $24,500.

Leonardo DiCaprio Signature Wardrobe from the 1997 Epic “Titanic” — Corduroy Trousers & Knit Shirt
Wardrobe made for Leonardo DiCaprio’s character the 1997 epic “Titanic”. Two-piece ensemble comprises (1) an oversize putty color long-sleeved cotton shirt with a bib detail of tan striped fabric. Measures 24″ across the chest. Light pilling, else near fine. (2) bronze corduroy trousers made by Dominic Gherardi, custom tailor for the movie, labeled “Leonardo DiC / Jack #2”. Trousers close with a button fly and waistband features buttons for suspenders. “Leonardo” label has detached from tailor’s label, else near fine. Costume has the original Fox Studio hang tags. Also accompanied by wardrobe department’s tag. Sold for $23,116.

”Batman Forever” Batman Costume Featuring Cowl, Shoulders, Chest & Iconic Bat Symbol
”Batman Forever” Batman costume featuring the cowl, shoulders, chest, and Bat Symbol used in the 1995 Warner Brothers film, the third entry in the beloved franchise starring Val Kilmer as Batman. Ensemble includes a black foam rubber Batman cowl with black leather flaps (with inner velcro catch); felt-lined shoulders, chest and abdomen (1 piece); and molded resin Bat Symbol chest ornament, all mounted on a display stand with circular base. Outfit was either worn by Kilmer or among the Batman cowls on display in the Batcave in the film. As displayed, measures 46.5” tall and 22” wide across the chest. Very good to near fine condition, a stunning display. Sold for $18,750.

Shirley Temple Screen-Worn Heart Dress From 1938 Film ”Just Around the Corner”
Shirley Temple screen-worn heart dress, worn as ”Penny” in the 1938 film ”Just Around the Corner”. Designed by Gwen Wakeling, the blue wool dress is pleated and has three hearts on the chest. Attached is a matching short sleeve silk blouse with a leaf and heart design and two prominent red hearts on the collar. Dress has two straps per shoulder and an adjustable belt in back. Measures 12” across the shoulders with 4” sleeves and 26” overall length. Comes with two vintage photographs of Shirley wearing the dress. Near fine condition. With a COA signed by the Shirley Temple estate. Sold for $15,625.
Beyonce’s Custom Wetsuit Costume From ”Austin Powers in Goldmember” — With Wardrobe Tag
Beyonce wetsuit from her role in ”Austin Powers in Goldmember”. The pop singer stars in the Mike Myers comedy as Foxxy Cleopatra. Custom black neoprene wetsuit with yellow striping has no label and features a little fox icon in yellow print on the left breast. Measures 12.5” across the chest with a 28” inseam and 19.5” sleeve. In near fine condition. With partially printed wardrobe department tag rubber stamped, ”Austin Powers 3” and citing, ”Actor Beyonce Knowles / Character Foxxy / Scene 93 / Set Int. Dr. Evil’s Sub / Change #9 / Scuba”. Sold for $15,625.

Jay Chou costume from “The Green Hornet”, the 2011 remake by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Chou stars as Kato, sidekick to Rogen’s Britt Reid and superhero alter ego The Green Hornet. Ensemble comprises: (1) jacket in charcoal grey and black herringbone lined in silver silk with mandarin collar in two-tone white and charcoal. Measures 18″ across the chest with 17.5″ sleeve, (2) black long-sleeved custom shirt with white mandarin collar by Anto Beverly Hills with the actor’s initials JC and the date September 2009 embroidered on the label, and Jay’s name handwritten inside. Measurements match those of the jacket, (3)black rubber mask that hooks around the ears, (4) peaked cap style hat in charcoal grey herringbone with black leather bill and band. Near fine overall.
