Leonardo DiCaprio is most known for his role as Jack Dawson in the new classic “Titanic”. Throughout his decades-long career he has received numerous awards, including three Golden Globes and an Academy Award for “The Revenant”. Leonardo DiCaprio Signature Wardrobe from the 1997 Epic “Titanic” — Corduroy Trousers & Knit Shirt. Sold for $23,116.
Wardrobe made for Leonardo DiCaprio’s character the 1997 epic “Titanic”. Two-piece ensemble comprises (1) an oversize putty color long-sleeved cotton shirt with a bib detail of tan striped fabric. Measures 24″ across the chest. Light pilling, else near fine. (2) bronze corduroy trousers made by Dominic Gherardi, custom tailor for the movie, labeled “Leonardo DiC / Jack #2”. Trousers close with a button fly and waistband features buttons for suspenders. “Leonardo” label has detached from tailor’s label, else near fine. Costume has the original Fox Studio hang tags. Also accompanied by wardrobe department’s tag. Sold for $23,116.
Leonardo DiCaprio Costume From ”Man in the Iron Mask” — Handmade Coat With Real Mink Trim. Sold for $6,704
Leonardo DiCaprio costume from ”Man in the Iron Mask”. DiCaprio stars as twins Philippe and his megalomaniac counterpart King Louis XIV in the successful adventure film. Lavish costume coat made under the auspices of Academy Award-winning costume designer James Acheson is made of red and gold jacquard with real mink fur cuffs, collar and center. Floor-length coat measures 62” in length, with a train in the back extending the measurement to 77” from shoulder to end. Measures 30” across the chest. Mink cuffs measure 7”. Coat is fully lined in dusty pink shiny fabric and fastens up the front with eight gold braided toggles. Loosening to top female toggle, else near fine overall. Sold for $6,704.

Leonardo DiCaprio screen worn ”Man in the Iron Mask” laurel crown. DiCaprio starred as the cruel King Louis XIV and also as his twin brother Philippe. He donned this crown in the masquerade ball scenes. Detailed crown features thin, contoured golden color metal leaves wrapped in woven golden ribbon on a metal frame, crafted to look like a pair of laurel sprigs. Leaves are interspersed with pearlescent beads and rhinestone decoration. Crown ties in the back with bronze mesh ribbon. Measures 9” in diameter, with each leaf measuring 1” x 2.75”. Near fine. Leonardo DiCaprio’s screen-worn shirt from his 1998 film, ”The Man in the Iron Mask,” in which he starred as King Louis XIV and the title character. The movie was produced by United Artists and was shot on the heels of DiCaprio’s ”Titanic” fame. This long-sleeved cream silk blouse was typical of 18th century menswear and features cuffs trimmed with antique Irish crochet. Measures 40” in length. Near fine condition. Sold for $2,886.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s screen-worn gloves from his 1998 film, ”The Man in the Iron Mask,” in which he starred as King Louis XIV and the title character. The movie was produced by United Artists and was shot on the heels of DiCaprio’s ”Titanic” fame. This pair of tan leather gloves are labelled Pamela Woods within and are trimmed with braided gilt fringe. Accompanied by an 14” x 11” lobby card from the movie showing DiCaprio wearing the gloves. This classic 18th century ivory-colored floor-length cotton gown was typical of 18th century men’s sleep wear and features a tatted neck and collar. Gown measures 60” in length. Accompanied by lobby card showing DiCaprio wearing it. Near fine. Sold for $2,623.

Leonardo DiCaprio screen-used ”Gangs of New York” prop axe. DiCaprio wielded this spike axe in the scenes depicting the Draft Riots in which he killed a Union soldier as character Amsterdam Vallon. The successful film was directed by Martin Scorsese and was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. 28.5” long rubber axe is artfully hand-painted and distressed. Near fine. Leonardo DiCaprio period costume from the 2002 sweeping historical drama, ”Gangs of New York”. DiCaprio starred in the lead role as Irish gangster Amsterdam Vallon in lower Manhattan’s ”Five Points” neighborhood during the mid 1800’s. Grey silk and cotton tunic by Caterina Miniucchi buttons halfway down the front. A label sewn inside the collar is inscribed with Dicaprio’s character’s name, ”Amsterdam / Shirt NS / Double Repeats”.
