Sell Your Jim Carrey Mask Costume

The Mask is a 1994 American superhero comedy film directed by Charles Russell, produced by Bob Engelman, and written by Mike Werb, loosely based on the Mask  comics published by Dark Horse Comics. The first installment in the Mask franchise, it stars Jim Carrey, Peter Riegert, Peter Greene, Amy Yasbeck, Richard Jeni, and Cameron Diaz in her film debut. Carrey plays Stanley Ipkiss, a hapless bank clerk who finds a magical mask that transforms him into his alter ego, The Mask, a mischievous troublemaker who later on becomes a superhero with superpowers, but who ends up accidentally becoming targeted by the mafia when gangster Dorian Tyrell intends to use the mask to overthrow his boss.

Jim Carrey Screen-Worn Cloak as The Grinch — With Green Grinch Mask

Jim Carrey screen-worn cloak and Grinch head from the classic Christmas story, ”Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas”. As the despicable Grinch who tries to ruin Christmas for the townspeople in Whoville, Carrey dons the costume upon sneaking into the town. Lot comprises a two-piece cloak and Grinch head mask, with label inside the cloak inscribed, ”John David Ridge / Mr. Jim Carrey”. Floor-length ulsterette cloak with angel sleeves in milk chocolate-color fabric features allover tufts of coarse thread, lending a shaggy appearance. Topped with a cropped cape in matching fabric with drawstring hood, fastening up the front with hook-and-eye closures. Accompanied by a green rubber Grinch mask that fits over the head. Cloak comes with a COA from Universal. Small bits of white prop snow from set are embedded in the fabric. Near fine. Sold for $7,560.

Tommy Lee Jones & Will Smith ”Men in Black II” Archive — Their Screen-Worn Suits & Massive Stunt Weapons

Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith screen-worn black suits and prop weapons from ”Men in Black II”. Extensive lot from the hit UFO franchise includes the iconic black suits worn by Tommy Lee Jones as Agent Kay and by Will Smith as Agent Jay. Pair of suits were tailor-made for the actors by acclaimed costume designer John David Ridge. ”Mr. Tommy Lee Jones” is typed to the labels of his jacket and pants, as is ”Mr. Will Smith” on the labels of his jacket and pants. Both suits include a white cotton dress shirt, custom made by Anto of Beverly Hills. Shirts feature monograms embroidered in blue thread to the labels, ”T.L.J.” and ”W.S.”, respectively. Shirt labels are dated June 2001 in type. Ensembles are complete with unlabeled black neckties and velvet pocket squares. Wardrobe is accompanied by the pieces de resistance, Agent Kay & Jay’s giant alien-blasting weapons. Impressive pieces are made of solid rubber finished in silver paint. Agent Kay’s single-barrel weapon in silver, with green at the top measures a whopping 40” in length. Agent Jay’s tri-barrel weapon measures 31.5”. Will Smith’s jacket and trousers feature small holes for his wire harness to pass through, with labels inscribed ”Harness” in ink, and the letters ”FC” are handwritten to his shirt label. Some scuffing to props and tearing to the back of Jones’ shirt, else lot is near fine overall. With a COA from Prop Store and a copy of costume department’s info sheet.  Sold for $25,428.

Beyonce’s Custom Wetsuit Costume From ”Austin Powers in Goldmember” — With Wardrobe Tag

Beyonce wetsuit from her role in ”Austin Powers in Goldmember”. The pop singer stars in the Mike Myers comedy as Foxxy Cleopatra. Custom black neoprene wetsuit with yellow striping has no label and features a little fox icon in yellow print on the left breast. Measures 12.5” across the chest with a 28” inseam and 19.5” sleeve. In near fine condition. With partially printed wardrobe department tag rubber stamped, ”Austin Powers 3” and citing, ”Actor Beyonce Knowles / Character Foxxy / Scene 93 / Set Int. Dr. Evil’s Sub / Change #9 / Scuba”. Sold for $15,625.

Mike Myers Screen-Worn From Austin Powers in Goldmember

Mike Myers screen-worn memorable suit from the 2002 film “Austin Powers in Goldmember.” Myers played various roles in the hugely successful film, including Dr. Evil, Goldmember and Fat Bastard. Purple and pink “groovy-baby-yeah!” suit was featured in many of the film’s most memorable scenes. Full suit includes (1) a red and blue vertical-striped suit, jacket and pants, both custom-made with “Mike Myers” printed on tag; (2) two periwinkle and white polka dot “Venice Custom Shirts” brand button-downs, size medium; (3) a red and white-striped neck scarf; (4) yellow socks; (5) a red and white-striped tie and (6) a white belt. Also includes an 8.5″ x 11″ color copy of the cover of “Entertainment Weekly” featuring Myers in the suit and signed boldly “Mike Myers” along bottom in blue marker. With COA from New Line Cinema. Fine. Sold for $9,224.

Mike Myers Screen-Worn Iconic Crushed Orange Jacket From ”Austin Powers in Goldmember”

Mike Myers screen-worn orange jacket from the 2002 film ”Austin Powers in Goldmember.” Myers played various roles in the hugely successful film, including Dr. Evil, Goldmember and Fat Bastard. Costume is worn in the outrageous and comical scene in which Powers fights Mini Me in his hotel room. Custom-made crushed orange velvet jacket has four brown buttons and a yellow patterned lining. Nicely framed and matted against a blue background with a plaque and the film’s logo reading ”Jacket worn by Mike Myers in Goldmember”, with a movie still along the bottom. Frame measures 31.5” x 41.5”, in fine condition. With COA from the Prop Store.
Sold for $2,520.
