Who Is Fleetwood Mac?
Fleetwood Mac is one of the best selling rock bands of all time. Their album Rumours from 1977 is the eighth highest selling album of all time, having sold more than 40 million copies worldwide. With commercial success, fame, and newfound wealth, came personal problems, disputes and divorces, fueled by drugs and alcohol. After numerous line-up changes, the only remaining member of the band today is Mick Fleetwood. But their music survives and is much beloved by fans and music collectors pay top dollar for Fleetwood Mac memorabilia, including stage worn costumes, instruments, autographs, etc.

Fleetwood Mac Grammy Award for “Album of the Year” in 1977 for the Iconic Album “Rumours”
Phenomenal Grammy award from 1977, won by Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac for the album ”Rumours”, one of the top 5 selling albums of all time. Released in February 1977, ”Rumours” garnered both commercial and critical success, and scored top 10 singles for ”Go Your Own Way”, ”Dreams”, ”You Make Loving Fun” and ”Don’t Stop”. Grammy award is a gold-plated metal representation of a gramophone affixed to a wooden base, with a plate reading ”National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences / Fleetwood Mac / Album of the Year – 1977 / ‘Rumours”’. Measures 4.75” wide x 7” high x 5” deep. Light wear to brass plate and rubbing to plating of gramophone, overall very good plus condition. The metal bar connecting the gramophone to the record player has also been repaired, as originally auctioned by Christie’s. Previously sold as lot 173 in Christie’s Grammy Auction Pop Sale from 4 February 1998, with auction tag intact. Sold for $44,291.

Stevie Nicks Autograph Letter Signed — With Epperson COA
Stevie Nicks autograph letter signed, penned in black ballpoint on Corinthia Hotel London stationery during Nicks’ 2013 world tour. Nicks writes to Nicolette Young, the daughter of her backup vocalist Carolyn Brooks, after Young had a baby girl named Luxe. Letter on two separate sheets reads in full, “Nicki / Here are some more things for our best dressed baby girl. Italy and PARIS – so much fun for me. I tried to up the sizes a little bit so they will last a little while. I am on my way to Dublin and then back to England & then thru Europe. I will keep my eyes open for more things for our little fashionista / Italy (Versache) [sic] The world / I love you / Stevie”. Nicks also draws a little Eiffel Tower. Each sheet measures 5.75″ x 8.25″, accompanied by transmittal envelope, also handwritten by Nicks, “Nicki & Luxe & your sweet husband [hand-drawn heart]”. Single fold and light creasing, overall near fine. With Roger Epperson COA. Sold for $2,020.

Nicks pens the cover in black felt-tip, ”I am so proud of you – you are stronger than anyone knew – Love – Auntie / To Nickie Love – / Stevie Nicks”. Minor wear to album, overall near fine. Album was given to Nicolette Young, the daughter of Carolyn Brooks, one of Nicks’ background vocalists. With Roger Epperson COA. Sold for $1,613.

Stevie Nicks Twice-Signed Music Book of Her Most Famous Songs — With Epperson COA
Stevie Nicks twice-signed music book of 14 of her most famous songs. Nicks signs both the title page and the page for the song ”Landslide” in black felt-tip. On the title page she writes, ”Nic / I Love you – / Always / Stevie [hand-drawn heart]”. On the page for ”Landslide” she also writes, ”Nicolette – Sweet girl – Love / Stevie Nicks [hand-drawn heart]”. Softcover book measures 9” x 12”. Milwaukee: Hal Leonard Corp., no date. Tear to last blank page and light wear, overall near fine condition. Book was given to Nicolette Young, the daughter of Carolyn Brooks, one of Nicks’ background vocalists. With Roger Epperson COA.
