Who Was Eddie Van Halen?

Eddie Van Halen was a music icon who fronted the hard rock band Van Halen between 1972 and 2020. He was a guitarist, keyboardist and one of the main songwriters for the band. Many sources consider Eddie Van Halen as one of the best and most influential guitarists of all time. In 2023 Rolling Stone ranked him 4th in their compilation of the 250 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. Van Halen released 12 studio albums and have 13 #1 hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
