Diego Rivera book signed, ”The Frescoes of Diego Rivera”, published by Harcourt, Brace and Company: New York: 1929. Special autograph edition book is signed ”Diego Rivera” upon the front free endpaper beneath a frontis photo of the artist. Volume runs 144pp., heavily photo illustrated with black and white images of Rivera’s paintings and drawings. Bound in putty color cloth boards with brick red lettering. Measures 9.75” x 12.5”. Toning to leaves and light wear to exterior, with the slightest bend to front board, else near fine. With PSA/DNA COA. Sold for $938.

Diego Rivera Signed Copy of ”Portrait of Mexico”

Diego Rivera signed book ”Portrait of Mexico”, showcasing his paintings. Published by Covici: New York: 1937. Signed ”To W.H. Hoover / Diego Rivera” to the front free endpaper. Beautiful book contains 211pp. of text by Bertram Wolfe, followed by 249pp. of black and white images of Rivera’s paintings and drawings. Bound in cream color cloth boards with bronze lettering. Measures 6.75” x 9.25”. Toning to leaves and slight rear hinge detachment. Very good overall. Sold for $625.
