Napoleon “Nap” Lajoie Game-Used Bat
Authentic Napoleon “Nap” Lajoie Bat; a Louisville Slugger professional game-used bat. Accompanied by Mears LOA, which dates the bat to 1916-1921, and states: “This is the only known professional model signature bat from the end of Lajoie’s playing days in the Major Leagues (1916) or the beginning of his playing days in the Minor Leagues (post-1916).” Bat measures 34.75″ and weighs 35.6 ounces. LOA gives final grade of A5.5. Knob of bat has what looks like a large “D” carved into the end. In the early twentieth century, Lajoie was second only to Ty Cobb as the top player in the American League. Sold for $8,500.
Roberto Clemente Game Used Bat
Rare Roberto Clemente Pittsburgh Pirates 1961-63 game-used bat. Bat shows Forbes Field green bat rack marks and #21 on the knob. Excellent condition with PSA authentication. An excellent Roberto Clemente example of sports memorabilia. Sold for $5,400.
Duke Snider Game-Used Bat
Duke Snider bat, game-used, circa 1950-1951. Hillerich & Bradsby professional model C117L bat measures 35″ in length and weighs 33.9 ounces. Ball marks and deep ball stitch impressions visible to right and left barrel. Grain separation from repeated ball contact to front barrel; a six inch piece is missing from the back barrel. The small and rare “Ed Duke Snider” is stamped to the front barrel. Handle reveals that Snider’s signature crisscross tape was removed, bat also appears to have been oiled. Lot accompanied by Letter of Authenticity by PSA/DNA confirming that the model number, length and weight specifications were confirmed by the manufacturer’s ordering records as being ordered by Snider during this time period. An excellent and hard to find bat from the 1950’s era. Sold for $5,012.

Alex Rodriguez game-used bat used to hit his 545th career home run. Louisville Slugger bat used during Rodriguez’s 2008 season; the last year at Yankee Stadium. Signed in silver ink, “Game Used 2008 / Career HR #545 vs Minnesota / Aug. 12 / Game Winner.” Accompanied by Letters of Authenticity from PSA/DNA, JSA and Alex Rodriguez himself. An extraordinary signed bat in excellent condition. Sold for $4,080.

Signature is faded, though still visible. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA COA. An outstanding Babe Ruth collectible in very good condition. Sold for $10,208.
