Type 1 Apollo 11 Photo on “A Kodak Paper” — The Iconic “Visor” Photo Measuring 10″ x 8″

Buzz Aldrin (/ˈɔːldrɪn/; born Edwin Eugene Aldrin Jr.; January 20, 1930) is an American former astronaut,  engineer and fighter pilot. He made three spacewalks as pilot of the 1966 Gemini 12 mission. As the Lunar Module Eagle pilot on the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, he and mission commander Neil Armstrong were the first two people to land on the Moon.

The iconic “Visor” photo, showing Buzz Aldrin standing on the lunar surface with the reflection of Neil Armstrong in his visor, the most famous and desirable of NASA photos. Chromogenic glossy print is encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1 photo, with “A Kodak Paper” watermark on verso, also showing the NASA stamp with photo number AS11-40-5903. Minor yellowing and abrasion at corners, overall very good condition. Sold for $2,730.
