Golden era of Hollywood legend Bette Davis worn dress. Black dress with cantaloupe polka dots zips up the back. Fine. With provenance from fashion designer Gene London, who obtained the dress from the William Doyle Gallery in New York, which auctioned Bette Davis’ estate in 1990. Sold for $1,220.
St. John Knit Dress Worn by Bette Davis
Bette Davis worn dress. Black long-sleeved dress with white linen collar and cuffs is a St. John knit in size 4. Minor staining to right cuff and spot to the skirt likely removable with dry cleaning, else fine. With provenance from fashion designer Gene London, who obtained the dress from the William Doyle Gallery in New York, which auctioned Bette Davis’ estate in 1990. Sold for $1,220.

Bette Davis personally owned necklace, with a glamorous rhinestone and black bead centerpiece in the style of old Hollywood. Necklace measures approximately 9.25″ long with 3″ wide centerpiece. Some rubbing to gold tone finish, otherwise near fine. With a COA from Davis’ personal assistant Kathryn Sermak. Sold for $1,180.

Bette Davis personally owned necklace, worn by the screen legend as Alice Vanderbilt in ”Little Gloria Happy at Last”. Off-white and black beaded necklace measures 42” long. Near fine condition. With a COA from Davis’ personal assistant Kathryn Sermak. Sold for $1,000.

Bette Davis personally owned earrings, a set of chandelier style clip-on rhinestones set in gold tone metal. Earrings are marked ”Chr. Dior Germany”, worn by Davis in many publicity photographs during the 1980s. Each earring measures 3” long. Some rubbing to gold tone, otherwise near fine.
