Apollo Flown Toothbrush
An Apollo flown toothbrush is rare at auction with only a handful ever coming up for sale. You would guess that most were thrown away because who wants a used toothbrush anyway? Well, apparently someone at our auction did and paid almost $12,000 for one. BTW, the provenance couldn’t have been better. It came directly from the sister of Apollo 13 astronaut, Jack Swigert. Jack Swigert’s Apollo 13 Flown Toothbrush
Jack Swigert Apollo 13 flown, personally owned NASA Oral B-40 clear toothbrush. Toothbrush measures 6.25” with some toning and wear. Housed in a plastic case. Very good. With an LOA from Swigert’s sister certifying that it is Apollo 13 flown. Sold for $11,794.
