Flag measures 18” x 11.5”, one of the largest Apollo flown flags, affixed to presentation mat measuring 20” x 16”. Mat is signed by Apollo 12 Command Module Pilot Richard Gordon, above a note stating, ”Sailed With Yankee Clipper / And Intrepid to the Ocean of Storms / November 1969”. Mat, measuring 16″ x 18″, is additionally dedicated by Command Module Pilot Richard Gordon: “Flown to the moon on Apollo XII! / Charles Conrad Jr. / Richard F. Gordon Jr. / Alan Bean”. Also affixed to mat is an Apollo 12 crew souvenir patch measuring 4″ in diameter, possibly flown. Light uniform toning to mat and mild show-through of glue on edges of cloth flag.
