Anthony Hopkins Wardrobe From His Signature Role as Hannibal Lecter in ”Red Dragon”

Anthony Hopkins jail costume as serial killing cannibal Hannibal Lecter in ”Red Dragon”, the prequel to ”Silence of the Lambs”. Wardrobe ensemble comprises a white t-shirt with inmate number B1329-0 in black print across the chest and a pair of white denim pants labeled ”Lecter 38” on the tag. Shirt by Fruit of the Loom is a size L. Pants are 35 x 29. Scattered small stains likely production caused to shirt and pants, else near fine. With a COA from Premiere Props and tag from Profiles in History. Sold for $2,500.

Ray Bradbury’s Prestigious Saturn Award — From the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films

Saturn award presented to Ray Bradbury at the 25th annual ceremony of the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. This George Pal Memorial award for the year 1998 is a figural Saturn sculpture made of metal on a metal base, with allover gilt finish. Measures 10.25” x 7”. Weighs 5 pounds, 8 ounces. Loosening at base, separation to engraved plaque and cracking to side of base, else very good. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate. Sold for $2,625.

Movie Poster For Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rear Window”

Original movie poster from “Rear Window”, Alfred Hitchcock’s celebrated film about suspicious goings-on in an apartment complex. Poster art is steeped in the ominous tone of the film, featuring James Stewart in close-up with a pair of binoculars; in the background are Grace Kelly and the brick wall of the apartment complex, complete with Stewart’s neighbors visible in the windows. Measures 28″ x 22″. Scattered small tears to edges all measuring 1.5″ or less, pinhole to center, pinhole to brick on right side and some paper loss to the letter “E” in Technicolor. Verso shows numerical notations, stamp from a previous seller and tape strips. In very good condition, having never been folded. Sold for $2,485.

Alfred Hitchcock Signed Sketch of His Famous Profile — Measures 11” x 14”

Large ”Alfred J Hitchcock” signature beneath his self-portrait sketch. Drawn in black Sharpie-style pen, large mat board measures 11” x 14”. Newspaper article taped to back indicates this was won at a charity auction in 1979. Creasing to corners, which can be framed out, and very light toning. Overall very good condition. Sold for $1,563.

Jack Swigert Personally Owned John Wayne Signed Photo — Signed ”Duke” & ”John Wayne”

John Wayne signed and inscribed photo to astronaut Jack Swigert. 10” x 8” matte photo depicts John Wayne posing in an eye patch and cowboy hat on set of one of his iconic western films. Inscribed in black ink to upper right, ”John — This is a new contraption to keep you from seeing double after a night of you know what. / Duke / John Wayne / 1970”. Includes an Old Tucson Motion Picture Locations and Sound Stage COA. From the personal estate of Jack Swigert. Near fine. Sold for $1,375.

Alfred Hitchcock Signed 8” x 10” Photo, Peering Sideways Into the Camera

Alfred Hitchcock signed photo, showing the director in his famous profile, giving a sideways glance to the camera. Hitchcock inscribes the top, ”To Marian / Alfred J Hitchcock”. Universal publicity photo from 1966 promotes Hitchcock on the verso as ”master of the ‘macabre, bizarre and suspense.”’ Glossy photo measures 8” x 10”. Minute smudge to name, otherwise near fine. Sold for $1,125.

”Frankenstein” Actor Colin Clive 8” x 10” Signed Photo

Photo signed by Colin Clive, the actor best remembered for his role as the reckless and tragic Dr. Henry Frankenstein in the 1931 film ”Frankenstein” and its 1935 sequel, ”Bride of Frankenstein”. Clive signs ”Best wishes / Colin Clive” on the 8” x 10” glossy photo taken by photographer Bruno Bernard, with his stamp ”Bruno Hollywood” at lower left. Mild creasing at corners, overall very good to near fine condition. Accompanied by original mailing envelope. Sold for $875.

Anthony Perkins Janet Leigh Signed Psycho Photo

Psycho is a 1960 American psychological horror thriller film produced and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The screenplay, written by Joseph Stefano, was based on the 1959 novel of the same name by Robert Bloch. The film stars Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles, John Gavin and Martin Balsam. The plot centers on an encounter between on-the-run Marion Crane (Leigh) and shy motel proprietor Norman Bates (Perkins) and its aftermath, in which a private investigator (Balsam), Marion’s lover Sam Loomis (Gavin) and her sister Lila (Miles) investigate the cause of her disappearance.

Orson Welles Signed 10” x 8” ”Citizen Kane” Photo — Welles as Kane Stands With Actor Joseph Cotton Among Stacks of ”The New York Daily Inquirer”

Orson Welles ”Citizen Kane” photo signed. A photo still from one of cinema’s loftiest achievements is inscribed by Welles along the lower border, ”for Julia Sullivan / all best / Orson Welles” in black ink. Photograph captures the moment when Welles, as Charles Foster Kane, stands amid stacks of his publication, ”The New York Daily Inquirer”. Beside him is Joseph Cotton in his film debut as Kane’s best friend Jedidiah Leland. 10” x 8” Signed ”The Wizard of Oz” Photo of Ray Bolger and Margaret Hamilton — ”…I’ll fix them!…WWW!”

Fantastic 10” x 8” glossy photo of Dorothy, the Scarecrow and the Wicked Witch of the West, in a still from ”The Wizard of Oz”. Signed in blue ballpoint, ”To Jay from The Scarecrow / Ray Bolger” and in green felt tip, ”Nice day? Hmm! I’ll fix them! He He Huh – Hah Hah! Sorry! Like to see you! WWW!” Light rippling to top and right edged, and partial three hole punches along top edge. Overall in very good to near fine condition. Sold for $375.

Excellent Spencer Tracy signed glossy photo. The actor signs his name boldly in black ink, ”Spencer Tracy” beneath an MGM-commissioned portrait of him, gazing away from the camera. Measures 8” x 9.75”. Minor creasing to edges, else near fine condition. Sold for $375.

Lot of 12 Photos Signed by an Array of Celebrated Actors & Actresses — Stars From ”Gone With The Wind”, ”Star Trek”, ”The Lone Ranger”, 7 Time Oscar Winner Billy Wilder & EGOT John Gielgud

A dozen classic actors’ photos signed. EGOT winner John Gielgud signs his portrait and dates it 1992. Butterfly McQueen and Rand Brooks each sign a photo of themselves in costume from ”Gone With The Wind” as Prissy and Charles Hamilton, respectively. ”Star Trek” cast members William Shatner, Leonard Nimov and James Doohan sign their photos, in which they are dressed as Captain Kirk, Spock and Scotty. Lot includes two photos signed by legendary Hollywood writer/director/producer Billy Wilder, ”First Lady of Cinema” Lillian Gish, Alice Faye, ”Lone Ranger” Clayton Moore and Frank Capra. All photos measure 8” x 10” except for Gielgud’s, which measures 6.75” x 8.25”. Signed photos are in a variety of finishes from matte to glossy. Near fine overall. Sold for $313.
