Bon Scott & Angus Young Signed AC/DC Tour Program from 1978 — With Epperson COAs for Both Signatures
Bon Scott and Angus Young signed AC/DC program for the band’s UK tour in 1978 for ”Powerage”. Lead singer Bon Scott, who died in 1980, signs the page featuring him in blue ballpoint, also writing ”AC/DC” on the page. Angus Young signs the cover in blue ballpoint, also writing ”AC/DC” after his name. Program measures 8.25” x 11.5”. Some creasing and light buckling. Somewhat poor contrast to Young’s signature. Overall in very good condition. Obtained directly by the consignor while working as one of the road crew during the tour. With Roger Epperson COAs for both signatures. Sold for $1,479.


Very rare and lengthy autograph letter signed by Bon Scott, the AC/DC lead singer named #1 ”Greatest Frontmen of All Time” by ”Classic Rock” magazine. Scott writes to his childhood friend Valerie Lary while touring in 1978, referencing AC/DC’s live album, a grueling tour schedule, Phil Rudd and much more. Though undated, content dates the letter to 1978 during AC/DC’s ”Powerage” tour, and Scott tells Valerie he’s writing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, further dating it to late August, 1978. Letter spans three pages on three separate sheets, each measuring 7.25” x 10.5”. Folds and a small bit of creasing, else near fine condition. With Roger Epperson COA and a letter of authenticity from Valerie Lary. Sold for $9,831.

1977 AC/DC Tour Program Signed With 18 Signatures by the Band — Including Several Signatures by Bon Scott Who Died in 1980 — With Roger Epperson COA
AC/DC tour program for their album “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, signed profusely by the band members, Angus Young, Bon Scott, Malcolm Young and Phil Rudd. 1977 UK tour program is signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint “Angus Young” and “Bon”, with an additional inscription of “AC/DC” by Young. Angus Young and Scott sign a further five times each throughout the program, as do Malcolm Young (signs four times) and Phil Rudd (signs twice). According to the autograph seeker who obtained the signatures, they were reportedly obtained on 19 March 1977 when the band arrived at the venue prior to their concert in Southend-on-Sea. An LOA to this effect accompanies the lot. Measures 8.25″ x 11.75″. Some wear and creasing to program; overall in very good condition. With Roger Epperson COA. Sold for $4,859.

Jim Morrison signed first edition, first printing of his personal copy of ”An American Prayer”, Morrison’s third and final collection of poetry. Privately printed for Morrison by Western Lithographers, 1970; limited to 500 first printing copies. This was Morrison’s personal copy, inscribed by him on the title page, ”To Jack / J Morrison”. in black felt-tip. The recipient, Jack F. Moore, Jr. was a news reporter at WCKT (now WSVN) Channel 7 in Miami who visited Morrison at the Dade County Jail after he was arrested for lewd behavior in 1970. The young charismatic reporter instantly formed a connection with Morrison, who gave Moore his own copy of the book after the interview. Bound in original burgundy boards with gilt lettering to front cover. Book measures 4” x 4.875”, unpaginated. Backstrip missing, light shelf wear, foxing to endpapers and minor smudge to signature. Overall in very good condition. With both a COA from Roger Epperson and LOA from the recipient’s son, Jack F. Moore, III. Sold for $10,000.


Excellent Beatles signed concert program – without inscription, for a concert held on 25 April 1963 at Fairfield Hall in Croydon, Surrey. On the two-page spread devoted to The Beatles, each of the Fab Four sign next to their photo in blue ballpoint, ”I Love You / Yours / John Lennon / xxx”, ”Love, / Paul McCartney / xxx”, ”George Harrison / xx” and ”Love / Ringo Starr / [star sign]xx”. The event was organized by London concert promoter John Smith, and also featured John Leyton (who cancelled his appearance), The Big Three, Billy Kramer, and several more acts, with The Beatles headlining. Orange program bound by two staples runs six pages and measures 6.875” x 9.5”. Separation starting along bottom seam, and creasing throughout. Small hole to top right of cover. Overall in very good condition. With Roger Epperson COA for all four signatures. A rare uninscribed Beatles concert program, signed at the cusp of their global fame. Sold for $9,375.


The Beatles signed fan club photo measuring 5.75” x 4”, signed in green ink by all four when Pete Best drummed for the band. Signed ”John Lennon”, ”George Harrison”, ”Pete Best” and ”Paul McCartney”, who also adds the inscription ”To Hank / Best Wishes”. Upon the verso of the photo is printed, ”With Best Wishes / from / Paul Pete / John George / THE BEATLES / April 5th 1962”. Light creasing to photo and some fading to ink, overall in very good condition. Slabbed by PSA/DNA and also with their COA. Sold for $8,750.

Jimi Hendrix Experience Signatures — Perhaps the Best Signatures of the Group Ever Available, With Jimi Writing, “to an Electric lady / Jimi Hendrix” — With Roger Epperson COA
Fantastic set of signatures by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, signed by all three, Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding. Hendrix inscribes the note, ”Love always to Maribeth / Stay Sweet / to an Electric lady / Jimi Hendrix”, adding two hearts and dating the signature to 16 November 1968. Mitchell additionally signs ”Best Witches / Mitch *” and Redding signs, ”love / Noel Redding xxx”.
Signatures in pencil are on a piece of ”In flight…American Airlines” stationery, where the recipient, Maribeth, was a stewardess on the band’s flight that day. They were traveling to Cincinnati, Ohio where they were performing that night. Paper measures 7.25” x 10”. Folds and some creasing, and a bit of chipping to right side, otherwise near fine condition. With a COA from Roger Epperson for all three signatures. Sold for $8,236

Rare Bob Marley signed ”Exodus” album, inscribed by the legend in black felt-tip, ”Rasta Fari Live / Bob Marley”. Released in 1977 shortly after the assassination attempt on Marley’s life, ”Exodus” is considered his masterpiece, with more tracks on his greatest hits album ”Legend” than any other album, including ”Jamming”, ”Waiting in Vain”, ”Exodus”, ”Three Little Birds” and ”One Love”. Some abrasion to spine with partial loss, and some light ringwear, more so to the bottom. Very good condition. Vinyl sleeve and record included, which is in very good plus condition with just a few minute scuffs. With Roger Epperson COA. A rare signed piece by Marley, ideal for display. Sold for $7,563.

Bob Dylan signed album, “Highway 61 Revisited”, his 1965 album that “started” the 1960s. Leading with “Like a Rolling Stone”, Highway 61 is Dylan’s homage to the blues music that deeply influenced his writing and life. Signed by the master along the bottom of the album’s cover. Near fine condition. With COAs from PSA/DNA, Jeff Rosen and Roger Epperson. Sold for $6,074.

Janis Joplin Autograph, Signed at the 1970 Birthday Party of Kenneth Threadgill — With Epperson COA
Rare autograph by Janis Joplin, signed at the famous 1970 birthday party of her mentor Kenneth Threadgill. Joplin signs the back of an envelope, ”Bruce & Matt / Love from yr Dad & / Janis Joplin [heart symbol]”. Autograph was obtained by Texas Representative Neil Caldwell for his sons on an envelope of Texas Congressman J.J. Pickle, who also attended the famous 10 July 1970 party. Joplin would pass away less than three months later. Penned in blue ballpoint, envelope measures 3.875” x 8.875”. A few pinholes, toning and folds, overall very good condition. Very Scarce Jim Morrison Endorsed Check — Dated July 1969 Just After “The Miami Incident” and During Summer of Love With The Doors at Peak of Success
Jim Morrison endorsed check, signed “J Morrison” on the verso of a check from Johnson & Harband Management Account payable to James D. Morrison. Dated 18 July 1969 for $150.00 and signed on the front by Robert L. Greene. Check measures 8.5″ x 3.25″. Matted with a portrait of Morrison on stage and framed, so that both sides may be seen, to an overall size of 20″ x 18.5″. In fine condition, with cancellation stamps to body, and a bank stamp under Morrison’s endorsement. Sold for $3,066.

Keith Richards Signed Letter
1964 autographed letter signed by Keith Richards responding to note from Rolling Stones fan. Composed in red ink, letter reads in part: “Many thanks for your letter and I am sorry I haven’t written before One of my favorite hobbies is sleeping as I don’t get much time for it these days Keith Richards.” Letter measures 5″ x 7.5″. Accompanied by rough draft of the letter Keith is responding to. Mild wear, otherwise very good condition. Sold for $1,515.
