Albrecht Durer Engraved Passion

The Albrecht Durer Passion engravings, titled as Albrecht Durer Engraved Passion in auction records are sixteen 4 3/4″ x 3″ engravings of Christ from between 1508 – 1513.  The suite has been sold in both art and book auctions.  Recently, Albrecht Durer Engraved Passion sold for just over $60,000 in a book & manuscript sale but over $100,000 in an Old Masters art prints auction. Both were in American auctions but Albrecht Durer Engraved Passion has been sold in Europe too.  We at Nate D. 2015/02/27 – The first Nobel Prize in economics to ever go up for auction sold for $390,848 late last night, according to seller Nate D. Sanders Auctions.
