Albert William Kaline (/ˈkeɪlaɪn/ KAY-line; December 19, 1934 – April 6, 2020), nicknamed “Mr. Tiger“, was an American professional baseball right fielder who played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers. For most of his career, Kaline played in the outfield, mainly as a right fielder where he won ten Gold Glove Awards and was known for his strong throwing arm. He was selected to 18 All-Star Games, including selections each year between 1955 and 1967. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980, his first time on the ballot.

The 1951 New York Giants defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers for the National League pennant in a thrilling tiebreaker that culminated in the classic baseball moment called ”The Shot Heard Round the World.” In addition to being winning pitcher of that game, Jansen was named an All-Star that year. Wool uniform featuring the classic Giants team colors and styling was manufactured by MacGregor Goldsmith. ”Jansen” is embroidered in orange beneath the label inside his #46 button-front jersey; sized 44 in near fine condition. Kirby Puckett Worn Jersey & SP 1983
Kirby Puckett worn Minor League jersey and signed, inscribed photo. Puckett’s No. 28 Visalia Oaks jersey, size 44, worn in 1983 when he was promoted to the Minnesota Twins’ Class A team; he had been drafted by the twins in 1982 and played his first season in the Appalachian League. In 1984 he would join the Twins’ major league team. This jersey was gifted by Puckett to a young fan from Visalia, Sarah Hanna, along with an 11.75″ x 8″ color photo of Puckett wearing the jersey at bat. Reverse reads, “To Sarah, One of the sweetest girls I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I’ll never forget you. Stay Sweet. Love Always, Kirby Puckett Visalia Oaks #28.” Puckett added his Chicago address and phone number. These items were loaned to the Hall of Fame for a year by Miss Hanna for the “2001 Inductees” exhibit; a photo of the HOF exhibit and paperwork from the HOF is included. Puckett’s 2000 hit, game-worn Twins jersey brought $7,000 in a 2003 auction at Leland’s. Lot acquired directly from Sarah Hanna. Excellent condition. Sold for $2,686.

1964 Topps complete set of 587 cards. Valuable cards include Roberto Clemente, #440 and card #331 featuring a group shot of Mickey Mantle, Norm Cash, Roger Maris and Al Kaline. Rare high number cards begin at #523. Several checklist cards partially filled in with ink. Many player cards feature a question and answer scratch-off area on verso, several dozen cards are scratched off though the majority remain untouched. Overall very good condition. Sold for $1,903.
