These ten hardcover volumes are in unusually good condition in their original pine green bindings, with gilt lettering and top edges gilt. Volumes are illustrated with Mathew Brady photographs and over 300 wood-engraved images by the foremost engravers of the 19th century including Timothy Cole. Some light shelf wear, but overall in very good to near fine condition. A very attractive set for a library. Sold for $1,500.
