The Adventures of Tintin (French: Les Aventures de Tintin [lez‿avɑ̃tyʁ də tɛ̃tɛ̃]) is a series of 24 bande dessinée albums created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé. The series was one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century. By 2007, a century after Hergé’s birth in 1907, Tintin had been published in more than 70 languages with sales of more than 200 million copies, and had been adapted for radio, television, theatre and film.

Tintin book about the moon landing signed by five Apollo astronauts: James McDivitt of Apollo 9, Frank Borman of Apollo 8, Walt Cunningham of Apollo 7, Charlie Duke of Apollo 16 and Fred Haise of Apollo 13. French edition book of “The Adventures of Tintin” is about Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock and Professor Calculus exploring the moon. Signed on the front free endpaper by all five astronauts, who also add their Apollo mission. Book measures 6.625″ x 8.75″. Near fine condition. Sold for $2,200.
