Anthony Hopkins Wardrobe From His Signature Role as Hannibal Lecter in ”Red Dragon”
Anthony Hopkins jail costume as serial killing cannibal Hannibal Lecter in ”Red Dragon”, the prequel to ”Silence of the Lambs”. Wardrobe ensemble comprises a white t-shirt with inmate number B1329-0 in black print across the chest and a pair of white denim pants labeled ”Lecter 38” on the tag. Shirt by Fruit of the Loom is a size L. Pants are 35 x 29. Scattered small stains likely production caused to shirt and pants, else near fine. With a COA from Premiere Props and tag from Profiles in History. Sold for $2,500.
Saturn award presented to Ray Bradbury at the 25th annual ceremony of the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. This George Pal Memorial award for the year 1998 is a figural Saturn sculpture made of metal on a metal base, with allover gilt finish. Measures 10.25” x 7”. Weighs 5 pounds, 8 ounces. Loosening at base, separation to engraved plaque and cracking to side of base, else very good. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate. Sold for $2,625.
Movie Poster For Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rear Window”
Original movie poster from “Rear Window”, Alfred Hitchcock’s celebrated film about suspicious goings-on in an apartment complex. Poster art is steeped in the ominous tone of the film, featuring James Stewart in close-up with a pair of binoculars; in the background are Grace Kelly and the brick wall of the apartment complex, complete with Stewart’s neighbors visible in the windows. Measures 28″ x 22″. Scattered small tears to edges all measuring 1.5″ or less, pinhole to center, pinhole to brick on right side and some paper loss to the letter “E” in Technicolor. Verso shows numerical notations, stamp from a previous seller and tape strips. In very good condition, having never been folded. Sold for $2,485.

Large ”Alfred J Hitchcock” signature beneath his self-portrait sketch. Drawn in black Sharpie-style pen, large mat board measures 11” x 14”. Newspaper article taped to back indicates this was won at a charity auction in 1979. Creasing to corners, which can be framed out, and very light toning. Overall very good condition. Sold for $1,563.

Psycho is a 1960 American psychological horror thriller film produced and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The screenplay, written by Joseph Stefano, was based on the 1959 novel of the same name by Robert Bloch. The film stars Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles, John Gavin and Martin Balsam. The plot centers on an encounter between on-the-run Marion Crane (Leigh) and shy motel proprietor Norman Bates (Perkins) and its aftermath, in which a private investigator (Balsam), Marion’s lover Sam Loomis (Gavin) and her sister Lila (Miles) investigate the cause of her disappearance.

Butterfly McQueen and Rand Brooks each sign a photo of themselves in costume from ”Gone With The Wind” as Prissy and Charles Hamilton, respectively. ”Star Trek” cast members William Shatner, Leonard Nimov and James Doohan sign their photos, in which they are dressed as Captain Kirk, Spock and Scotty. Lot includes two photos signed by legendary Hollywood writer/director/producer Billy Wilder, ”First Lady of Cinema” Lillian Gish, Alice Faye, ”Lone Ranger” Clayton Moore and Frank Capra.
