Wal-mart Founder Sam Walton 1983 Autograph Note Signed — “…we’re very ordinary folks…”

Rare Sam Walton, American entrepreneur and founder of Wal-mart and Sam’s Club, autograph note signed. Note is written in black ink on his personal “Memorandum from Sam Walton” letterhead and reads: “Donna — we’re very ordinary folks — who have been lucky & worked hard. Best wishes & good luck.” Signed boldly “Sam Walton”. Letter measures 5.5″ x 8.5″ with a crease running vertically through note and minor chips along top edge. Also includes original “Wal-Mart” headquarters envelope postmarked 30 November 1983. Near fine. Sold for $1,036.
