The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Disney is an American diversified multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios complex in Burbank, California. Donald Fauntleroy Duck is a cartoon character created in 1934 by The Walt Disney Company. Donald is an anthropomorphic white duck with a yellow-orange bill, legs, and feet. He typically wears a sailor shirt and cap with a bow tie. Donald is known for his semi-intelligible speech and his mischievous, temperamental, and pompous personality. Along with his friend Mickey Mouse, Donald was included in TV Guide‘s list of the 50 greatest cartoon characters of all time in 2002, and has earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has appeared in more films than any other Disney character, and is the most published comic book character in the world outside of the superhero genre.

Walt Disney Signed Donald Duck Cel, for ”Der Fuehrer’s Face”
Walt Disney signed cel of Donald Duck from ”Der Fuehrer’s Face”, the anti-German short made in 1943 to promote the U.S. war effort. Signed by Disney without inscription in brown wax crayon underneath cel, ”Walt Disney”. Cel was used in the marketing of the short, showing Donald Duck comically shouting into a phone, on an air-brushed background. Image measures 8.5” x 7.5” in frame measuring 15.5” x 15.125”. With Walt Disney Productions label on verso. Cel was given to film critic Merle Potter, and then by descent to his family. Sold for $6,406.
