Here is a Sonny Liston signed fight contract we have sold in the past:

Sonny Liston & Floyd Patterson Signed Fight Contract 63

Fight agreement signed by Charles “Sonny” Liston and Floyd Patterson on 18 February 1963, regarding the Heavyweight Title re-match held on 22 July 1963. Single page document reads in part: “The undersigned hereby agree to amend the Agreement among them dated January 30, 1963 by making the following addition to Paragraph ’10’ of said Agreement: ‘Nothing contained herein shall be construed to require Patterson to engage in any further bouts with Liston should Patterson defeat Liston.’ Dated: February 18, 1963 / [signed] Floyd Patterson / [signed] Charles Liston”. Liston and Patterson first squared off on 25 September 1962, resulting in a first-round knockout by Liston. The re-match, just under a year later, resulted in the same fashion with a first-round knockout. Liston remained champion until losing to Muhammad Ali on 25 February 1964. Document includes embossed seal from Championship Sports, Inc. at lower left and measures 8″ x 14″. Light creasing, otherwise near fine condition. From the Sam Simon Estate. Sold for $815.
