Jackie Kennedy Personally Owned Christian Dior Necklace

Jackie Kennedy’s personally owned necklace by Christian Dior. Necklace features six graduated strands of gold-plated square-linked chain, punctuated with 23 fluted spherical beads in faux coral. A charm near the clasp identifies it as Dior, made in Germany in 1973. This necklace even inspired a doll version of Jackie by The Great American Doll Company; for its “Jackie” doll, a miniature version of this coral necklace drapes the doll’s neck. Necklace measures 19.25″ from clasp to its lowermost point. Near fine. With a copy of the original invoice from the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis estate sale at Sotheby’s in April of 1996, lot 501.
