Here is a Marie Curie signed document we have sold in the past:
Marie Curie Signed Document From Her Institut du Radium
Marie Salomea Skłodowska Curie (/ˈkjʊəri/ KEWR-ee; French: [kyʁi]; Polish: [kʲiˈri]), born Maria Salomea Skłodowska (Polish: [ˈmarja salɔˈmɛa skwɔˈdɔfska]; 7 November 1867 – 4 July 1934), was a Polish and naturalized-French physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. As the first of the Curie family legacy of five Nobel Prizes, she was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first person and the only woman to win the Nobel Prize twice, and the only person to win the Nobel Prize in two scientific fields. She was the first woman to become a professor at the University of Paris in 1906.
Marie Curie signed “Institut du Radium”, rare as from her own lab and not the more commonly seen Faculty of Sciences of Paris. Signed “M. Curie” as Director of the Laboratory, Curie approves the results of a radium experiment. Document in French is dated 27 July 1921, with handwritten annotations to the document likely completed in the hand of her assistant. Document measures 8.25″ x 12.375″. Folds, uniform toning and light wear, overall in very good plus condition. Rare signed document concerning radiation by the twice-awarded Nobel Prize winner. Sold for $4,510.
