Fantastic set of signatures by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, signed by all three, Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding. Hendrix inscribes the note, ”Love always to Maribeth / Stay Sweet / to an Electric lady / Jimi Hendrix”, adding two hearts and dating the signature to 16 November 1968. Mitchell additionally signs ”Best Witches / Mitch *” and Redding signs, ”love / Noel Redding xxx”. Signatures in pencil are on a piece of ”In flight…American Airlines” stationery, where the recipient, Maribeth, was a stewardess on the band’s flight that day. They were traveling to Cincinnati, Ohio where they were performing that night. Paper measures 7.25” x 10”. Folds and some creasing, and a bit of chipping to right side, otherwise near fine condition. With a COA from Roger Epperson for all three signatures. Sold for $8,236.
Jimi Hendrix Autograph With His Revolutionary Band, The Jimi Hendrix Experience — With PSA/DNA COA
Incredible scarce and coveted signatures by the short-lived through highly influential rock band, The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Vintage ink signatures, “Love always, Jimi Hendrix autograph [with hand-drawn heart]”, “Noel Redding” and “Love, Mitch” on an off-white 3.5″ x 5.25″ lightly-lined slip. In very good condition, with partial separation and tear to central horizontal fold, scattered creasing and wrinkling, edge tears, and some mild toning. Despite the flaws, all three signatures are crisp, large and completely legible, with a Jimi Hendrix autograph perched above those of his bandmates. Accompanied by PSA/DNA COA. Sold for $3,670.
Jimi Hendrix Personally Owned & Worn Scarf — With Sotheby’s Provenance
Psychedelic sheer scarf personally owned and worn by Jimi Hendrix. The blue, red and pink scarf was worn by Hendrix as a sash and belt for several years, as stated in the LOA from Sharon Lawrence, his friend and biographer . Measures 70″ x 9.5″. Comes with photos and description from original Sotheby’s auction held in 1997. Minor wrinkling, otherwise near fine condition. Sold for $2,460.

John Entwistle artwork of Jimi Hendrix, with hand-coloration for Hendrix’s skin tone. Famous for his drawings, Entwistle even designed the cover art for The Who’s album ”The Who by Numbers”. His portrait of Hendrix is well-known, with this piece being a skin-color test for the final artwork. Entwistle uses various colors to fill out different portions of the artwork and writes ”75%” underneath. Page measures 8.25” x 11.5”. A few thumb impressions to left side, else near fine. With a COA from the John Entwistle Foundation. Sold for $1,000.

Second December, 1968 printing reads in part: “Bill Graham Presents in San Francisco Jimi Hendrix Experience Feb. 1-4 Fillmore Feb. 2-3 Winterland” Measures 14″ x 21.5″. Small tear and some slight corner wear, otherwise excellent. A classic piece from the most influential electric guitarist in rock history. Sold for $980.

Hendrix “Experienced” 1967 LP
1967 Jimi Hendrix “Are You Experienced?” LP. First U.K. printing number 612 001 Mono. Classic Hendrix LP features the guitar virtuoso’s most recognizable cuts including “Foxy Lady,” “Are You Experienced?” and “Fire.” Matrix numbers A1 and B1 denote first pressing. Matrix on B side shows “A” crossed out with “B” next to it, indicating copy to be the very earliest version. Mild toning to verso and wrinkles on front lamination. Creasing and sleeve wear, otherwise excellent. Sold for $990.
