1980 Topps triple card featuring Larry Bird, Dr. J and Magic Johnson “Scording Leader” Topps card. Rookie year for both Johnson & Bird. Boston Celtics Forward Bird, 76ers “26.9” Man Julius Erving, and Lakers Guard Johnson divide this horizontal card titled “Scoring Leader,” which features three of professional basketball’s all-time greatest scorers. Some mild toning. PSA 9 condition. This card was sold before by us. It is worth up to $25,000 now. We can offer you a $16,000 reserve.
Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird signed game-worn away jersey from his final 1991-92 season on the team. Bird helped lead the team to three NBA championships in his formidable career, which also included 12 All-Star game appearances. Front of green mesh jersey is embroidered in white, ”Celtics / 33” and Bird signs on one of the ‘3’s, ”Larry Bird” in black marker. Front of Jersey also has two official NBA patches, one of which denotes the jersey year as 1991, and a third ”Champion” brand tag denoting the jersey as size 46. Back of jersey is embroidered in white, ”Bird / 33”. With two official COA’s, one from JSA which rates the signature a 9, and a second from Grey Flannel. Near fine condition. Sold for $4,468.

Scarce ticket to the first game of Michael Jordan’s NBA career, the opening game of the Chicago Bulls season on 26 October 1984, where the Bulls beat the Washington Bullets 109 to 93, with the impressive rookie scoring the first 16 points of his career. Ticket stub is the more desirable version issued by the Chicago Stadium box office (rather than Ticketmaster), and one of only about 10 first game tickets slabbed by PSA, with only those possessing uncanny intuition able to recognize the historic importance of the game. Ticket has been altered from its inclusion in a scrapbook, but slabbed as authentic by PSA. Sold for $3,781.

Elvin Hayes 1977-78 14 Carat Gold Washington Bullets Ring Obtained Directly from Him, Who is One of the 50th Greatest Players in NBA History
1977-78 Washington Bullets NBA 14kt. gold Championship Ring belonging to Elvin Hayes. 75 point diamond on top of the ring is surrounded by “N. B. A. World Champions”. “Hayes”, “bullets” and “the fat lady sings” appear on one side, with the NBA logo and “1978” appearing on the other. Inside is stamped “Balfour 14K” along with his “E.E.H” initials engraved. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Hayes. Obtained directly from Hayes. Sold for $82,500.

The square-shaped ring features a diamond set atop a red back stone with ”Basketball Hall of Fame” engraved to gold surrounding stones. One side has ‘year of his induction, ‘1990” engraved above two basketball players in relief. Opposite side has ”Elvin Hayes” engraved above the Hall of Fame official logo.
