Willie Mays 1966 San Francisco Giants Uniform Home Pants, Game-Worn — From the Larry Jansen Estate

San Francisco Giants home uniform pants from the 1966 season, game-worn by Willie Mays. Of the 660 home runs in Mays career, chances are these pants were worn for many of his home runs in their time. Cream-colored pants have a thin orange and navy stripe down the side of each pant leg. Three ”MacGregor” brand tags are sewn into waist, including a ”MacGregor Set 2 1966” tag. Mays name is also stitched in cursive: ”Mays / 24 33 26”, as his uniform number, ”24” and measurements, 33” x 26”. The numbers ”24” and ”60” are also written in faded marker along the waist inseam. A few stains on the pants. Near fine. From the Larry Jansen estate. Sold for $2,623.

Single Signed Babe Ruth Signed Baseball

Single signed Babe Ruth signed baseball on the sweet spot. Exceptionally large 8.5/10 fountain pen signature upon an Official National League baseball with printed signature of NL President John Heydler, dating Ruth’s signature to 1934 or earlier. Clear, bold signature autograph with minimal marks on a very clean, bright ball. With COA from PSA/DNA, and auction COA from JSA attesting that the Babe Ruth signed baseball is authentic. Sold for $14,302.

1951 New York Giants team-signed bat issued to Larry Jansen. Signed by 27 members of the National League championship-winning team sign the barrel of the Louisville Slugger, which has “World Series 1951 / Jansen / New York Giants” branded into the bat. Signatures in pencil include: “Willie Mays”, “George Spencer”, “Al Corwin”, “Jim Hearn”, “Sal Yvars”, “Eddie Stanky”, “Wes Westrum”, “Sal Maglie”, “Bobby Thomson”, “Jack Lohrke”, “Whitey Lockman”, “Monte Irvin”, “Dave Koslo”, “Don Mueller”, “Dave Williams”, “Henry Thompson”, “Bill Rigney”, “Herman Franks”, “Sheldon Jones”, “Hank Schenz”, “Monte Kennedy”, “Frank Shellenback”, “Clint Hartung”, “Rafael Noble”, “Larry Jansen” and 2 others. New York Mets Signed 1962 Yearbook — First Year of Play in National League — 50+ Signatures Include HOFers Casey Stengel and Richie Ashburn plus Gil Hodges, Clem Labine, Don Zimmer and Joe Pignatano — With JSA COA

New York Mets Official 1962 Yearbook, their inaugural year in the National League, with more than 50 team signatures. Most signatures are on the front cover of the 8.5″ x 11″ book; many other players sign their bio pages and some sign twice. Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel, the “ole Perfesser,” signs in pencil on his bio. HOF outfielder Richie Ashburn signs the cover and again on the photo of Flushing Meadows Stadium, the new home for the Mets 1963 season. First baseman Gil Hodges signs the photo on his bio page. Other key players Clem Labine, Don Zimmer and Joe Pignatano add their autographs to the front cover. The yearbook runs 48pp. with the content of some pages, including 7/8, 19, 23/24 and 41, duplicated. Light wear to cover with minor soiling and tape residue to interior pages and partial separation of center pages at staple binding. Overall very good. With JSA COA. Sold for $1,850.
