Indiana Jones Whip Used By Harrison Ford in “Raiders of the Lost Ark” — Original Prop Used in the Film

Provenance includes a letter signed by Kit West, Special Effects Supervisor for the film on Kit West Productions letterhead confirming it was “…used during the filming of ‘Raiders’ by Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and his stunt doubles for the action and stunt sequences.” This 12-plait leather bullwhip was crafted for the production by leather-work design house David Morgan. Traditionally made of kangaroo hide, bullwhips produced by David Morgan during the 7-year ban on kangaroo leather, including this whip, are made of calf skin. Weighted handle features a plaited wrist-loop. Measures 117.5″ plus 26″ fall to an overall size of 143.5″. Expected wear to leather from usage. In near fine condition. Very rare Indiana Jones whip.
