Stunning gold and diamond guilloche vanity case by Faberge. Case features a ground engine-turned guilloche exterior, richly covered in candy apple red enamel. An Imperial eagle figure in gold is applied to front of case at the center of a starburst, and highlighted with a single diamond at its center. Case opens with a rose-cut diamond thumbpiece to a mirrored interior and a trio of compartments. Features Faberge and makers’ marks of Henrik Wigstrom and August Hollming of St. Petersburg, circa 1908-1915. Measures 3.5″ across and 2.25 deep. Weighs a substantial 9.25 ounces. Near fine. Cluster pendant style necklace features a central brilliant cut diamond, wreathed in princess cut emeralds, all surrounded by a ring of small brilliant cut diamonds in a white gold setting. Dates to circa 1930-40. Pendant measures just over 0.5” in diameter on a 16” chain. Housed in original green and white Barney’s New York fabric case. Barely noticeable chip to one of the emeralds. The Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson’s Green-Enameled & Jeweled Bracelet
Bejeweled bracelet owned by Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor. Vintage bracelet is made by Kenneth J. Lane, who designed for the 1960’s jet set including Jackie Kennedy, Elizabeth Tayor and Audrey Hepburn. Constructed of gold metal and rich green enamel, bracelet is highlighted at the tips by faux-diamonds and pearls, and hallmarked ”KJL”. Some chips to the green enamel, and a stone or two missing at the tips, else very good condition. With provenance from Christie’s 2004 sale of the Property of the Duke & Duchess of Windsor. Sold for $8,908.
Gorgeous and scarce set of jewelry issued by Hickok Jewelry, sold during the 1939 holiday season to promote ”Gone With the Wind,” which was released in January 1940. Clark Gable promoted the jewelry collection in advertisements for Hickok, and this set was reportedly owned by the then Vice President of the company. Is it possibly a salesman’s sample, as each piece of jewelry is carefully laid out in a display box with prices. Set consists of a necklace and tie clip each featuring lockets with photos of Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler, four additional necklaces, seven additional tie clips, one gold chain and two pins — one a rifle and one a sword. All items are fashioned in the design of ”Gone With the Wind” in gold finish and opulently-colored faux jewels. All pieces are laid out in the original fold-out presentation box that features photos of Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler on the cover. All jewelry pieces are stamped ”Hickok” and are in very good to near fine condition with working clasps. Box measuring 16” x 15” has some discoloration and abrasions; overall very good condition. A beautiful and scarce set, perhaps the only one now still available. Sold for $5,027.

Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor personally owned and likely worn brooch. Pin was made during the Qing dynasty, China’s last dynasty. Exquisitely crafted in the three-dimensional form of a Telescope Eye goldfish, brooch was acquired by Simpson during her yearlong tour of China in 1924-1925. Pin features an articulated body and fins made of brass tone metal with filigree scales and applied enamel in red, orange and light blue. The pin mechanism is located on the underside. Measures 3.75” x 1.5” x 1.75”. Separation to central segment, else near fine. Provenance from the Sotheby’s auction of The Jewels of the Duchess of Windsor, held Geneva, Friday 3rd April 1987, Lot 104. Sold for $3,125.
