His music, which was influenced by Southern country, African-American blues and Christian gospel, changed music and popular culture beginning the in mid-1950s. Some of his most popular hits include “Don’t Be Cruel”, “Hound Dog”, “It’s Now or Never” and “Jailhouse Rock”. Today Presley remains the best-selling solo artist and has estimated sales between 600 million and 1 billion. He holds the record for most songs on the Billboard top 40 with 115. Presley also had an acting career in television and films during the 1950s and 1960s. Some of his films include the titles “Jailhouse Rock” and “G.I. Blues”. Presley won three Grammy Awards and was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2018.

Elvis Presley Worn and Owned Suede Shirt — With LOA by Elvis’ Manager Colonel Tom Parker

Elvis Presley owned and worn camel-colored suede shirt, with letter of authenticity from his long-time manager Colonel Tom Parker, dated 8 August 1978. Letter written on Parker’s personal stationery reads in full: ”Dear Friend, This light suede material long sleeve shirt with front pocket and seven-button front with inside silk lining was the personal property of Elvis Presley. It is a size medium with label, it has been in my office collection of Elvis items for years and I’m sure there is a photo somewhere of Elvis wearing this item. I attest to its authenticity and pass this along to you to add to your collection now.” Signed ”Colonel Thomas A. Parker” in black ink. Fine condition. Sold for $4,570.

Elvis Presley Worn Custom Made Riding Jacket — Worn Riding Horseback at Graceland — With an LOA from the son of ”Blue Suede Shoes” songwriter Carl Perkins, to Whom The Jacket Was Gifted

Elvis Presley worn riding jacket. Caramel suede jacket was custom made for The King by Mike McGregor who resided at Graceland, and worn riding horses on the famed estate. Jacket features contrasting chocolate brown oversize leather stitching and four-button placket. Measures 20.5” across the chest. Scattered brick red paint stains, irregular bottom edge and absent lacing to left cuff, with some breakage to leather laces on the pockets and tops of the shoulders, else near fine. With an LOA from the son of ”Blue Suede Shoes” songwriter Carl Perkins, to whom the jacket was gifted by McGregor after Elvis’ death. Sold for $3,781.

Elvis Presley Check Signed From 4 January 1965 Made Out to ”Cash” — With COA From Graceland Authenticated

Elvis Presley check signed, dated 4 January 1965 just four days before Elvis’ 30th birthday. At this time, Elvis was enjoying the holidays at Graceland, and signed this check ”E.A. Presley” for $150.00 to ”Cash” for personal expenses, as noted on the side of the check. Check is drawn on Elvis’ personal account, with his name printed at top. Measures 8.25” x 3.125”. Discreet cancellation stamp, overall in very good to near fine condition. With COA from Graceland Authenticated. Sold for $3,750.

Elvis Presley Document Signed Contract

Elvis Presley signed document on William Morris Agency stationery dated 14 May 1957. Contract dates back to the month that Presley began work on his third and most widely-recognized motion picture, “Jailhouse Rock,” for MGM. Letter, addressed to “Loew’s Incorporated, Culver City, California,” reads in part, “I hereby agree to indemnify and save you free and harmless of any and all loss, cost or expense which may be incurred or suffered by you by reason of any action taken by you in reliance upon this authorization. This responsibility to be assumed by William Morris Agency, Inc…Very truly yours, Elvis Presley.” Letter, measuring 8.5″ x 11″, features Presley’s bold blue ink signature with faint ghost imprint underneath of what appears to be a second Presley signature created by signing a different sheet of paper on top of letter. Letter holepunched in two places along top of page and staple holes at top left corner. Small smudge near top left corner and righthand border, crease toning on blank verso, otherwise defect free in near fine condition. Sold for $3,350.

Beatles Signed Concert Program From 1963 — Each of the Beatles Sign Effusively Next to Their Photo, Without Inscription — With Roger Epperson COA for All Four Signatures

Excellent Beatles signed concert program – without inscription, for a concert held on 25 April 1963 at Fairfield Hall in Croydon, Surrey. On the two-page spread devoted to The Beatles, each of the Fab Four sign next to their photo in blue ballpoint, ”I Love You / Yours / John Lennon / xxx”, ”Love, / Paul McCartney / xxx”, ”George Harrison / xx” and ”Love / Ringo Starr / [star sign]xx”. The event was organized by London concert promoter John Smith, and also featured John Leyton (who cancelled his appearance), The Big Three, Billy Kramer, and several more acts, with The Beatles headlining. Orange program bound by two staples runs six pages and measures 6.875” x 9.5”. Separation starting along bottom seam, and creasing throughout. Small hole to top right of cover. Overall in very good condition. With Roger Epperson COA for all four signatures. A rare uninscribed Beatles concert program, signed at the cusp of their global fame. Sold for $9,375.

The Beatles Last Concert Poster as a Touring Band, From 29 August 1966 at Candlestick Park — First Printing

The Beatles concert poster from 29 August 1966 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, their last performance as a touring band. Original printing bears the yellow union bug at bottom right, very rare as one of only approximately 300 printed for the event. Poster #AOR-1.115 was designed by 1960s designer Wes Wilson, featuring a yin yang inspired symbol of the Union Jack and United States flags above a stylistic photograph of the Fab Four. Printed on card stock measuring 17.125″ x 24.125″. Poster is featured in Paul Grushkin’s book “The Art of Rock Posters from Presley to Punk”, page 64. Approximate 1.5″ closed tear at right mid-low margin, and .5″ closed tear at upper left margin. Minimal creasing, and no pinholes or mounting remnants. Displays beautifully with bright colors, in very good plus condition. Sold for $6,038.

Rare Led Zeppelin Poster Measuring 12″ x 19″ for Their Show on 1 May 1969 in Irvine, California

Led Zeppelin concert poster for their 1 May 1969 show at University of California Irvine’s Crawford Hall. Psychedelic poster designed by Chris Boulton is rare in this size of 12″ x 19″, with handbills more often seen at auction. It would also be their last concert poster without the appearance of a dirigible, the first showing of which occurred the next night in a poster for their show in Pasadena, and then started to appear in all their promotional materials. Poster on glossy paper measures 12″ x 19″. A few pinholes, light creasing, edgewear along margins, and a peace sign stamped to lower right corner. Some mounting remnants to verso. Overall very good condition, one of the most desirable Led Zeppelin posters. Sold for $5,825.

1969 “Woodstock Music & Art Fair” poster with Arnold Skolnick artwork. Second printing. Framed and matted ad for the legendary music festival, originally billed as “Three Days of Peace & Music – August 15, 16 & 17″ and featuring performances by Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, Sly and the Family Stone, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Sha Na Na, and myriad other legendary rock acts. Framed print measures 18″ x 24.5”. An amazing 1960’s artifact in mint condition. Sold for $4,790.
