Official National League Babe Ruth signed baseball signed by 8 Hall of Famers: “Babe Ruth”, “Ty Cobb”, “Honus Wagner”, “Tris Speaker.”, “Jimmie Foxx”, “Connie Mack”, “Walter Johnson” and “Eddie Collins”. All eight signatures including the Babe Ruth autograph are clearly legible and PSA/DNA authenticated. Also includes an LOA from the Baseball Hall of Fame regarding a possible donation of the ball in the 1980’s. A stunning signed ball in very good condition. Sold for $20,400.

Babe Ruth autograph and Lou Gehrig signed photograph. 5″ x 7″ black and white image depicts the two Yankee greats standing side by side on the baseball field wearing their pinstripe pants. Inscribed by Ruth in brown ink at the upper left, “For Walter from, ‘Babe’ Ruth” beside which Gehrig signs in black ink, “& Lou Gehrig”. Small .25″ tear (with no emulsion loss) at top, not affecting either signature, else fine. A difficult to acquire pairing of legendary signatures on a single photograph. A Babe Ruth signature with the quotation marks around “Babe” typifies his pre-1928 autograph and will sell at a higher value as well. Sold for $19,036.

Mickey Mantle signed 1959 Major League baseball contract. Contract states an agreement between the New York Yankees, known as the “American League Baseball Club of New York, Inc.” and “Mickey C. Mantle” for the amount of “$70,000 per season.” Mantle’s signature and address appear in dark ink on page three. Contract is dated 26 February 1959. 4pp. Mickey Mantle signed document measures 8.5″ x 11″. Contract shows slight toning, otherwise excellent condition. A rare treasure from the beginning of Mantle’s Major League career. A great sports autographed item of sports memorabilia. Great Mickey Mantle signed player’s contract.

1937 World Champion Yankees Team Signed Baseball — Including Signature by Lou Gehrig on the Sweet Spot — With JSA COA
Team signed baseball by the 1937 New York Yankees, who would win the World Series that year. Features 26 signatures, including Lou Gehrig on the sweet spot and Hall of Famers Tony Lazzeri, Charles “Red” Ruffing and Bill Dickey. Also signed by Jake Powell, Myril Hoag, Red Rolfe, Bump Hadley, Tom Henrich, George Selkirk, Johnny Murphy, Frank Makosky, Joe Glenn, Coach Johnny Schulte, Jack Saltzgaver, Paul Andrews, Kemp Wicker, Paul Schreiber, Art Jorgens, Don Heffner, Monte Pearson and Joe Vance. Four of the signatures are clubhouse: Joe DiMaggio, Lefty Gomez, Manager Joe McCarthy and Pat Malone. In good condition with overall toning to the ball, though nearly every signature still remains dark and legible. Accompanied by JSA COA, including an authentication report showing where each player signed on the ball. Sold for $2,835.

Signed 10″ x 8″ photo depicting the 1937 World Champion New York Yankees and bearing 30 signatures, accounting for every uniformed subject pictured. The signatures are rendered in the same consistent black fountain pen and include Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Red Ruffing, Selkirk, Crosetti, Jorgens, Hoag, Scheiber, Henrich, Hadley, Andrews, Makosky, Murphy, Rolfe, Vance, Malone, Glenn, Fletcher, Powell and Sullivan (mascot). Ten of the signatures are clubhouse versions including Wicker, Heffner, Saltzgaver, Dickey, Pearson, Gomez, Schulte, McCarthy, Combs and Lazzeri. Very good dark, legible signatures. Light wear, otherwise excellent. Accompanied by PSA/DNA COA. Sold for $3,670.

Babe Ruth single signed official National League baseball, signed on the sweet spot: ”Babe Ruth”. The vintage red and blue-stitched Spalding ball is stamped with the signature of National League President John A, Heydler, who served twice, the second time from 1918-34. A strong signature, although ink isn’t adhered as much to ”Babe” as it is to ”Ruth”, on a uniformly white ball with minor spotting. An attractive signed ball in very good condition. With PSA/DNA COA. Babe Ruth hand signed National League baseball. Spalding ball is signed with a steel-tip blue fountain pen, ”Sincerely / Babe Ruth”. Ball also has the stamped signature of Ford Frick, National League President from 1934-1951. Ball has some scuffing and toning throughout, slightly affecting two letters of Ruth’s signature, overall very good condition. With JSA COA. Sold for $6,875.
