Humorous Marc Davis cartoon from the personal collection of Ray Bradbury. Davis’ single-panel cartoon depicts a motley band of monsters and robots in an office, apparently eager to see Ray Bradbury. A beleaguered office clerk tells them, ”Dammit, Get Out Of Here. When Ray Bradbury Shows Up, I’ll Let You Know”. Signed and dated, ”Marc Davis / 6/22/70”. Measures 17” x 14”. Matted to an overall size of 19” x 16”. Allover toning and bottom edge shows adhesive residue and a chip, else very good. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate. Sold for $1,031.

Original Frank Interlandi signed drawing, owned by Ray Bradbury. Interlandi was a noted editorial cartoonist for the L.A. Times, in which this cartoon likely appeared in 1976. Title is printed at top, ”Below Olympus / Interlandi”, depicting a lonely mailbox marked ”Bradbury”, likely located on a distant planet. Signed ”Interlandi / (c) 1976 / Los Angeles Times” at bottom. Framed to an overall size of 9.5” x 12.5”. Some toning and white-out marks by Interlandi, else very good. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate. Sold for $313.
